WHO WE ARE

The Friends of Gros Ventre Fire Station is a 501(c)(3) corporation — so your donations are tax-deductible.

The directors are north-of-town residents and Teton County voters who came together to make a long-stalled fire station a reality.

THE PROBLEM

LAND SECURED. NO MONEY TO BUILD.

The County has held a long-term plan for a fire station on Spring Gulch Road for over twenty years — but has never been able to budget the money to build it.

The Friends and the Teton County Commissioners have agreed on a plan to make it real. If the funds are raised this year, the Fire/EMS station can be

operational in 2029.

Communities north of Jackson are served by Station 1 in town. For a medical emergency, that means a 40-minute round trip to the hospital. When time is everything, that gap is a life-or-death risk.

THE PREMIUM

Distance from a fire station gives homes north of town the worst ISO rating possible — and double the premium of homes closer in. New policies are hard to get, and existing ones are being cancelled.

Raise up to $10M for construction and preoperating expenses of the Fire/EMS Station.

The County requires $8M proof of funds to start — either cash or a line of credit against pledges.

Donations are pledged, then converted to cash at milestones during design and construction.
