Ponemos la pimienta, tuco, comino dejamos freír bien Cortamos las papas en cubos Añadimos a lo frito la raya , las papas, sal, sazonador al gusto y el pimiento. Mezclamos bien y listo.

The imperfect house

A master of construction for many years was ready to retire to enjoy his pension. He told his boss about his plans of leaving work to live a more pleasing life with his wife and family. He was going to miss his monthly salary, but he needed to retire. They would get by somehow.

The boss realized it was inevitable that his good employee would leave the company and he asked him to make one last effort as a personal favor: build one more house. The man agreed and began his work, but he could clearly see that he wasn’t putting his heart into what he was doing.

He used low-quality materials and his work, the same as his helpers, was insufficient. It was an unfortunate way to put an end to his career.

When the builder finished his work, the boss went to inspect the house and reached the keys to the front door.

“This is your house, dear friend—he said—. It’s a gift for you.”

If the construction worker had known that he was building his own house surely he would have done it totally different. Now he had to live in the imperfect house that he had built!

We distractedly build our lives, re-

acting when we should act, without performing to the best of our ability.

Many times we don’t even put forth our best effort on the job. Then suddenly we see the situation we’ve created and discover we are living in a house that we have built. If we had known before, we would have done it differently. The conclusion is that we should think as if we were building our own house. Every day we ham-

mer a nail, set up a wall or build a roof.

Building with wisdom is the only rule that strengthens our existence. Even if we live it for only one day, that day deserves to be lived with grace and dignity. Life is like a project of do-ityourself. Your life, now, is the result of your attitudes and actions of the past.

Your life of tomorrow will be the result of your attitudes and actions of today!

Si el albañil hubiera sabido que estaba construyendo su propia casa, seguramente la hubiera hecho totalmente diferente. ¡Ahora tendría que vivir en la casa imperfecta que había constru-
