Like the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650, the production version of the Shotgun 650 will be powered by a 648cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine However, it may feature a larger rear sprocket to provide better low-end grunt.

The Shotgun 650 will come equipped with an inverted front fork, twin rear shock absorbers, and disc brakes with dual-channel ABS assist as standard. The motorcycle is expected to be priced around Rs 3 15 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with the more expensive Kawasaki Vulcan S

Royal Enfield is expected to launch the Shotgun 650 later this year, providing a new option for riders seeking a middleweight cruiser.
