A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
It’s with a heart full of gratitude that I write to you today. The year ahead marks not only the 10th year of operation for Big League Impact, but also the final year of my major league career. This unique juncture has me looking both forward and back, cherishing the remarkable impact we’ve made together.
When my brother and I founded Big League Impact a decade ago, we envisioned a path where teamwork, compassion and determination could reshape lives and communities. That vision has become reality thanks to you, our dedicated and generous donors.
In 2022, our collective efforts raised an astonishing $1.2 million, pushing our total raised since 2013 to over $8 million. These funds continue to make a very real impact on peo-
ple in need, providing them with basic human necessities that many of us often take for granted. Through your unwavering support, we have helped to deliver food, clean water, medical care, shelter, and education to individuals all over the world. These aren’t just charitable acts; they are life-changing moments for those who receive them.
Thank you, from the depths of my heart, for believing in Big League Impact. I am filled with hope and excitement for the legacy we can continue to build together. Let us carry the spirit of unity, kindness, and generosity forward, making an even bigger impact in the years to come.

BIG LEAGUE BLAST SPORTING CLAYS TOURNAMENT • NOVEMBER 2022
Big League Impact VP and Phillies pitcher
Kyle Gibson hosted the annual Big League Blast on Nov. 12, 2022, at St. Louis Skeet & Trap Club. Dozens of shooters braved the cold for a sporting clays tournament that raised more than $40,000 for food pantries in Franklin County, Mo.
Kyle and his wife, Elizabeth, were inspired to choose this cause after learning about the growing rates of food insecurity in their community. One in 10 U.S. households have trouble providing enough food for everyone in their home due to a lack of resources, according to the USDA. In 2021, an estimated 53 million people turned to food banks and community programs for help putting food on the table — and this demand is only expected to go up as inflation and supply chain challenges continue to impact local families. The money raised at this year’s Big League Blast will make a real impact for local people in need.
Special thanks to our generous sponsors, Rowley Sports Management, RTP Outdoors, Winchester Ammunition, Spectrum Reach, e3 Wealth, El Agave Mexican Restaurant, Farm-
ers Insurance – Ed Fogelbach, Exit 11, Hibbs Homes, LLC, Bank of Washington and Ming Insurance Group for their support of this event. Thanks also to past and present MLB players Noah Syndergaard, Sam Coonrod, Justin Masterson, Spencer Patton and Brad Thompson for joining us on the course.

The money was divided among a variety of charities, including 5 Oaks Farms, Cardinals Care, Challenger League (El Segundo, California), Ground 40, Meals on Wheels (Rockwall,

KISSES FOR KYLE
In 2022, Big League Impact helped MLB pitcher Zach Eflin raise $58,743 for Kisses for Kyle, a non-profit organization that supports families who have children battling cancer in the Delaware Valley area.
“Every time we’ve been able to support our families financially this year through these extra generous funds available to us, I think of you, your awesome organization, and Zach and Lauren (Eflin),” writes executive director Sharon Snyder.
Snyder described a recent situation involving a family who rushed from their home in Mexico to the Delaware Valley to get their son the best treatment available for his cancer diagnosis. The family left in such a hurry, they were unable to pack everything they would need for their stay — including a change of clothes.
“Their social worker reached out on behalf of the family, thinking it would be a long shot of a request, but she thought to ask as we tend to support out of the box emergency needs,”
Snyder says. “After explaining to me what the family is facing, I was able to immediately say, of course we can help.
“I will wholeheartedly say, having these generous funds to utilize immediately is and will be making a huge impact to many families during what has to be the most difficult time in a family’s life.”

CRISIS AID INTERNATIONAL
Crisis Aid International is one of our longtime charity partners. In 2022, Adam Wainwright selected Crisis Aid International’s Community Helping Community program to benefit from his #ALLWIN St. Louis campaign.
The Community Helping Community program works with partners all over St. Louis to help provide food to people from all walks of life. The program, which started during the COVID-19 pandemic, has impacted more than 100,000 families and distributed more than 2.5 million pounds of food via its Crisis Boxes.
Below is a touching story shared by CEO and founder Pat Bradley about the impact of this program:
“How do we express how the Crisis Boxes have made an impact? I will relay a story and hopefully, it will express a small amount gratitude for the boxes.
During hand outs, I try and greet as many clients as possible. One of our clients is a Vietnam veteran. When I first met him, I thanked him for his service — I always look forward to seeing him. A few weeks ago, I walked up to his little truck, reached in to pat him on the shoulder and say, ‘Hello, Tom.’
He grabbed my hand and started kissing it and said — ”You are an angel. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH.” He was tearing up and of course, I was also tearing up. I mean, a veteran, crying and thanking ME!
When you ask if the boxes make a difference... We get the glory, but it really should go to so many other people! I hope this gives you some insight into how much people depend on the Crisis Boxes.”
CONSIDER THE LILY
For years, Big League Impact has worked with MLB pitcher Luke Weaver to support Consider the Lily, a nonprofit that provides aftercare homes in Manila, Philippines, for abused, exploited, and trafficked Filipino girls. In 2022, Big League Impact helped Weaver, as well as pitcher Chase Anderson and former catcher Nick Hundley, raise $57,640 for the organization through Weaver’s fan-supported #ALLWIN campaign and our Players Only Fantasy Football League.
“We are thrilled to provide you with an update on the impact of your generous donation to Consider the Lily,” writes director Kim Hommell. “Your support has made a significant difference in the lives of the girls in our care, and we are truly grateful for your part-
nership in this critical work.”
Funds raised through Weaver’s participation in Big League Impact’s #ALLWIN campaign and Players Only Fantasy Football League have helped Consider the Lily expand their reach to offer help to even more girls in need.
“The funds you provided are being used to provide counseling, education, and justice, along with physical needs like food and transportation,” Hommell writes. “With your support, we can now get another van to take the girls to school, court appearances, and Sunday worship services. This will make a significant difference in the lives of these girls and their ability to access the resources they need to heal and grow.”
WE CANNOT EXPRESS ENOUGH OUR GRATITUDE FOR YOUR SUPPORT. YOUR GENEROSITY HAS MADE A PROFOUND IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF THESE GIRLS, AND WE ARE HONORED TO HAVE YOUR PARTNERSHIP IN THIS WORK.”
— CONSIDER THE LILY
GIVING SOLE
In 2022, infielder Trevor Story won $20,000 for Giving Sole through our Big League Impact Players Only Fantasy Football League. The organization, which works with foster care agencies to provide new tennis shoes for children in need, said that money will help more than 300 kids get brand new shoes in 2023.
“Not only do the new shoes help the kids, but it also can be a huge help to the families that look after these kids,” says Shawn Henss, CEO and founder of Giving Sole. “Some of these kids are in kinship placements, which means that a family member has stepped up to take
the child or children so that they don’t end up in the foster care system.
“These kinship placements do not get a lot of financial help from the government, so we love that we can help with some of the financial burdens by getting the kids new shoes.”
Henss says that some of the children they serve are teenagers, and have never had a brand new pair of shoes in their life. Because of that, he explained, his organization is committed to providing these children with the exact shoes that they ask for.

ABOUT OUR #ALLWIN CAMPAIGNS
Our #ALLWIN campaigns invite MLB fans to help us make an impact, one swing at a time! Each campaign offers an exciting opportunity for baseball fans to team up with their favorite MLB players and make a difference in the world. Players pledge a donation to a specific charity for every game their team wins during the regular season; additionally, players may also pledge donations based on their individual stats throughout the season (ie. strikeouts, stolen bases, etc.).
By donating to an #ALLWIN campaign, fans can support a wide range of charities that are making a positive impact in their communities — while also being entered to win fun prizes.
In 2022, we helped players from the St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, Arizona Diamondbacks and Kansas City Royals rally their fans to raise $316,190 for over a dozen charities. When we’re all in, we #ALLWIN!

Big League Impact founder Adam Wainwright and his St. Louis Cardinals teammates stepped up to the plate once again for our #ALLWIN St. Louis campaign, raising more than $100,000 for charity throughout the 2022 season. Other participating Cardinals included Tommy Edman, Paul Goldschmidt and Miles Mikolas.

The team’s total was boosted by an extra campaign by Mikolas, who pledged a separate donation of $200 per strikeout. He finished with 31 in an abbreviated season and will donate an additional $6,200 to programs at the Crisis Aid Women’s Shelter that support victims of human trafficking.

KYLE GIBSON: PITCHING FOR A PURPOSE
Congratulations to Big League Impact vice president and MLB pitcher Kyle Gibson, the Philadelphia Phillies’ 2022 nominee for the Roberto Clemente Award!
Serving and caring for others has been an integral part of Gibson’s character during his nearly decade-long baseball career, which also includes stints in Minnesota and Texas. He first teamed up with BLI in 2017 and has been a true champion of our mission ever since.
When Gibson arrived in Philly in 2021, fans were quick to witness Gibson’s impact both on and off the field. He made an unforgettable introduction by immediately rallying his new teammates and fans around the #ALLWIN Philadelphia campaign, making donations to Cradles to Crayons, which supports low-income and homeless children, and Philabundance, an organization combating food insecurity in the Philadelphia area.
Gibson continued to earn wins for charities working both locally and internationally. throughout the 2022 season by introducing philanthropic events such as Swinging For Impact and our signature fantasy football league.
During a joint interview with founder Adam Wainwright earlier this year, Gibson said that he and his wife Elizabeth feel particularly called to support organizations working to lift kids out of poverty.
“Kids are just so innocent,” he said. “They have no decision on what type of a situation they go into, no decision on who their family members are. They’re just there. It’s an honor to be able to partner with organizations that are able to lift those kids out of poverty, get them into an educational system that changes generations for years to come.”
