We Feel Your Pain The biggest complaints we hear from commercial cattlemen. 1). Bulls and replacement females aren’t lasting due to feet & structure issues in today’s seedstock cattle. Our Solution: All bulls sell with a three-year feet and leg guarantee. This holds our cattle to a higher standard as well as protecting you from having large investments into bulls that do not last.
2). Yearling bulls fall apart during first breeding season. Our Solution: Our bulls are sold in a healthy/athletic condition as opposed to the overweight yearling bulls that you are used to purchasing. The bulls are developed in a large pasture setting (150-300 acre pastures).
3). Longevity & Fertility (or lack thereof). Our Solution: Hybrid cows breed up better, live longer, and wean 20% more pounds per cow exposed when compared to straight bred cattle.
4). Rising input costs/inflation. Our Solution: We work every day to create a cowherd that can thrive within our environment. We do so by making our cows graze 10 months out of the year (with little supplements), calve in a tight calving window, breed back and raise a respectable calf unassisted. When we do feed cows they receive grass hay -- our cows and replacement heifers are not pampered.
