Before we put Big Canoe Summer 2024 in the history books, we thought we would take a moment to look back one last time at the traditions that make this such a special community
Our planning starts well before the end of the year with our amenity manager ' s plans for summer camps Sign-up began in January, and you all helped make attendance record-breaking this year We hope you and yours were able to create memories of a lifetime with your children and grandchildren.
June and July were packed with a diverse range of activities We embarked on another exciting travel series trip to see Les Miserable at the Fox Theater in June, and our golf pros and clubhouse team hosted an incredible Men's Member Guest tournament. Then, July brought us an independence week like no other. The Color Run/Walk returned triumphantly after a four-year hiatus, and our furry friends had a parade all their own. We wrapped up the week with a bustling playfield park filled with family fun, fellowship, dancing, and fireworks
This month, our golf and clubhouse team hosted the beautiful Mountain Laurel Women's Member guest tournament. In mid-September, we will wrap up with the boys of summer as our Atlanta Braves take on the Los Angeles Dodgers travel event. We still have a few tickets remaining.
Looking ahead to fall, please make your plans to kick it all off with us on September 28th at Big Canoe's Fall Festival This year, we will have more than 50 artisan vendors and counting, 9 food trucks, Reformation Brewery, a great band, and an incredible kids' zone.
