MAKE YOUR APRIL
MAKE YOUR APRIL PLANS AND MAY PLANS AND MAY
GreetingsfromtheCommunityEngagementTeam!
What a beautiful Easter weekend! We are so thankful to all our team members in Big Canoe Public Works, Safety, our Clubhouse Staff, and the incredible volunteers who make these events possible. A special thank you to our resident Easter Bunny, Karen Steinberg. If you are interested in supporting events in the future, we invite you to click (here) to sign up, and a member of the Programming and Events Committee will be in touch
Speaking of events where we will need volunteers, w very fun event seasons from now through the end of the year. Big Canoe Living will be published every two weeks for the remainder of the year to open our team's bandwidth and bring you the best POA community engagement programming we possibly can. In this week's issue, you will find information on entertainment, art, sports, fitness, dining, charitable giving, and even bulk trash disposal opportunities, to name a few And, if something has a registration, make your plans early, as it seems everything is booking up quickly these days.

Please turn to page 3 to register for the Clubhouse rendering review with our architects on April 20. There will be two sessions, and seating is limited to the first 100 attendees per session
In our next issue, which will be published on Friday, April 19, we will share all the details for 2024's fireworks and family festival Please read on because this is Big Canoe Living!

PLANT SALE PLANT SALE

The Big Canoe Wildflower Bunch (WFB) Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on Saturday, April 27th. This year the venue for the sale has been moved to the Chapel's three-tiered parking lot (across the street from the Racket Club). Ten percent of all proceeds go toward club projects and initiatives, which benefit Big Canoe and the surrounding area. Some vendors may not take credit cards or Venmo so please bring cash or checks to pay for purchases.
Invite your friends and neighbors! Garden club members with experience in dealing with the challenges of gardening in Big Canoe will be on hand to help you with your selections. Spring is here, and no matter if you are looking for trees, shrubs, perennials, or annuals you are sure to find something beautiful to add a fresh look to your garden.
