Can you believe it's the last day of October 2025? And, this year, that means an end to daylight saving time this weekend Don't forget to set your clocks back on Sunday, Nov 2nd.

Today was also the last day for early voting in our state, but not to worry we can still vote on Tuesday, November 4th. Please see the links to the Pickens and Dawson County sample ballots below Speaking of voting, we also invite everyone to watch the videos of Big Canoe's Board of Directors Candidates in this week's edition of Big Canoe Living. In addition to the video opportunity to hear from the candidates, please mark your calendars for the final event of the 2025 campaign period and meet the candidates live at this year ' s wine-and-cheese event on November 9 at the Overlook. All the details and important election dates are in the following pages.
In closing, we hope your holiday plans are coming together beautifully and include the incredible Santa Brunch and Christmas Market with tree lighting Think the Santa Brunch is just for the little Canoers? Well, we are happy to share the extraordinary menu from Chef Russell this week, which will delight all ages! We are down to our final 100 seats out of 350 don't delay get your spot now Our tree arrives this Monday, but will not be lit until Santa flips the switch at sundown to end the Christmas Market.
