The excitement is building across the community for our Independence Week celebrations. We hope that you and yours have a wonderful time and make many memories next week. In this week's Big Canoe Living, we have all the details you need to know to maximize the fun, stay safe and hydrated, and review the road closures and timing.
This time of year, we also start to think about what's coming up after Independence Day First up, you have the opportunity to let your creativity shine by helping name our community event space in the Clubhouse at Lake Sconti before it reopens. Some early suggestions have been Oak Hall or Laurel Hall from the Clubhouse Task Force. The Marketing team also has some thoughts, but we know you all will have great ideas too. Click the link on page 28 and submit as many ideas as you want. Then join us at our Town Hall meeting on July 12 at the Big Canoe Chapel, 10 AM, to hear the final name.
Read on for all the details about this year ' s Town Hall meeting. We will have several of our partners for you this year, including our auditing firm, Mauldin & Jenkins, KDC Architects, and Geosyntec In last night's Board Meeting, Jon Schultz of Mauldin & Jenkins presented our preliminary audit report. You can watch his presentation by clicking the link on the Town Hall page.
See you soon on the Playfield!
Cheers,
Delaine
