OLS Introduction The Office for Life Sciences (OLS) is a joint unit between the Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) and Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). This bulletin aims to keep the life sciences sector up to date on the latest guidance and during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, providing you with information from Government to help your members and networks prepare. News NEW – The Government have launched an implementation plan to deliver world-leading genomic healthcare to patients, improving diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Regulation ATTACHED – The MHRA have written an open letter regarding importer obligations for Northern Ireland under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 April 2017 on medical devices.
