Ladybirds2 Room

Welcome to Ladybirds 2! At Ladybirds 2 (LB2) our mission is to create a space where your little ones can grow, explore, and learn through a variety of exciting activities. Outdoor and messy play are at the core of our approach, ensuring your child's early years are filled with joy and discovery.

We believe that nature is the best playground for young minds to flourish. Our outdoor area is a vibrant and safe space where children can run, jump, and explore to their heart's content.

To help ease their transition into the next stage, in LB2 we offer opportunities for your child to interact with children from our "Busy Bees" group. This helps foster friendships and build their confidence before the room move.

At LB2, we cherish the uniqueness of each child and tailor our activities to ensure they have a fulfilling and enjoyable day, filled with laughter and learning.

SleepTime

At LB2, children are still offered sleep time (those who no longer sleep will join the Busy Bees group).

Our room transforms into a peaceful sleep area, equipped with individual mats designated for each child and stored separately. If you prefer, you can provide comforting items like soothers to help your little one doze off.

Rest assured, a dedicated staff member will be present during sleep times, ensuring your child's undisturbed and restful snooze. When a child wakes up, they will eagerly head back to the Busy Bees group, ready to begin a new day of play and exploration.

At Ladybirds 2, we recognize the significance of quality sleep, preparing your child for a fresh start in each new part of the day. Our commitment to their well-being extends to providing a nurturing environment for both rest and play.

LunchTime

In our multi-purpose room, children enjoy their lunches in a calm and friendly environment. We encourage independent eating, with little ones drinking from open cups and feeding themselves whenever possible. Lunchtime is a moment where we can enjoy sharing a meal together.

At LB2, we understand the importance of hygiene. We actively promote independence with hand washing before and after mealtimes - our caring staff is always there to guide and support them as they develop this essential life skill.

Through these simple routines, we foster a sense of responsibility and empower the children to take charge of their well-being, ensuring a healthy and happy environment for everyone.

At LB2, every aspect of your child's day is carefully crafted to encourage growth, confidence, and independence. We hope your little one loves being a part of our nurturing community!

EverydayEssentials

Clothing pegs for Ladybirds 2 can be found on the on the walls, just before you enter the room - you can also find your little ones artwork and photos on the boards above,

Each child should have a set of spare clothes, indoor shoes or slippers, and outdoor shoes. In colder weather, we kindly ask parents to provide a warm hat, gloves, scarf, and coat. For rainy days, waterproofs are essential, and during hot weather, a sun hat is a must-have. To avoid any mix-ups, please make sure to label all clothing items with your child's name. This helps us keep everything in order and prevents any items from getting lost or misplaced.

To keep all these items together, we request that they be provided in a fabric bag made of crochet, felt, or canvas. This ensures durability and easy storage for your child's belongings.
