LOST DOG—Akita mix Cleo, pictured here with her puppies, has been missing for five weeks. Angry residents demanding fliers be taken down hasn’t helped matters for her concerned owners.

Lost, Scared Dog Roams City; Mayor Of No Help By Courier Staff A beautiful but skittish, recently-rescued Akita mix is currently roaming the streets of Beverly Hills – and the adopted parents frantically seeking help. They certainly didn’t find any from City Hall or the Mayor’s Office. Cleo went missing about five weeks ago while walking with her owners, prominent realtors Joy and Craig Hudson. The family was walking near its home at 121 N. Doheny Dr. and heading south to Wilshire when a loud noise

scared Cleo and sent her running off into the night. Joy Hudson told The Courier that shortly after, the couple put ‘lost dog’ fliers up all around its neighborhood. Hudson said fliers went up on neighborhoods like Gregory, Peck, Camden, Bedford, Roxbury and Linden. The family received more than 30 calls for sightings, but was never able to track down Cleo.
