Pastor Henry Land, Jr., (OverseerDesignate) is the Senior Pastor of the Word of Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Pastor Land has been pastor for over fifteen years. He and his lovely First Lady Verna Land have been faithful members of the UFCCM for over five and half years.

Pastor Land has been mentored over the years by His Grace Bishop William Strong who also was instrumental in encouraging Pastor Land to become part of the UFCCM! A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE UNITED FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN CHURCHES AND MINISTRIES

Remembering the Past…Remove not the old landmark;...” Proverbs 23:10a ThirtyyearsagotheHolySpiritmoveduponourfounderandbegantoactivateavisionthathe hadcarriedwithinhisheartfromhisyouth.In1994hewasConsecratedasaBishopandbecame oneofthefoundingfathersoftheSoundsofPraiseFellowshipMinistriesundertheleadershipof thelateBishopNathanielSimmons.However,afterfiveyearsofdedicatedandfaithfulservice, theHolySpiritledhimtoorganizeaFellowshipministry,gearedtowardsunitinglike-minded ministriesfromacrossthefragmentedspectrumofthechurch.Inpursuitofthatleadinghe traveledtoColumbia,SouthCarolinatobeginwhathethoughtwouldbethebeginningofthe realizationofthatvision.

However,helearnedfromspendingtimeinfasting,inprayerandobediencetotheLordthatthe timinginwhichGodbirthsHispurposewithinanindividualisnotalwaysthesametimingasthat oftheindividual’stiming.

ItwasTwentyyearsago,inaBedandBreakfastinthetownofBeaufort,NorthCarolinaonthe shoresoftheCarolinaCrystalCoastthathefullyrevealedthisvisiontoateamofsaints,TheLate DeaconWallaceBrown,thenMotherBettyBrown,atthattimeFirstLadyShirleyTindaland(The LateOverseer)ElderHenryATindal,Jr

NotlongthereafterwhilevisitingwithDeaconandMotherBrowntheHolySpiritcameupon MotherBrownandspokethattheLordhadsaiditwasthetimetostepoutonfaithandlaunchthe ministry,whichtheLorddirectedthathenameTheUnitedFellowshipofChristianChurchesand Ministries(UFCCM).Almostlikewildfirethevisionspreadandwithinafewyearsofitsbirth.
