Leni is a utopian architectural campus which follows an alternative design strategy and situates it’s belief in a holistic method of learning.

Inspired by the stories of Nari Gandhi and FLW, the campus of Leni rests almost hidden in the beautiful hills of the mountains of Lonavala.

Using a material pallete of bricks and stone, the architecture tried to juxtapose yet compliment the beautiful greens and the majestic mountains.

Existing in the beutiful landscapes of the hills of Lonavala, Leni is a campus with no doors. A dream of an education that is hidden in our history.

CONCEPTUALIZING

The intial tussle with learning to work with contours provided an oppurtunity to play with the levels.

This process lead to the creation of a seamlessly flowing campus, following a gurukul mehtod of experiential learning

Eventually the architecture of the campus began to shine through. Perfectly complimenting the greens and the lush trees.

story of love, laughter and love//

Sangam is a dream to connect and remove the exclusion that I believe is integral for Architecture to accomplish.

The site given to us was a beautiful place with an age old gulmohar tree looking down and guiding us.

The location was in koregaon park with a dead stream of the mula mutha on one end of it.

Perfectly juxtaposed between the old and the new, Sangam grew gradually, bringing new life through footsteps and flowing water achieved by riparian methods.

An art movement itself, Sangam is more than a hotel; or rather it is a testiment to what a hotel can be. A confluence of rivers and people, the river invites all.

INTIAL THOUGHTS

The proccess of Sangam was started by creating courtyards and enclosing the natural vegetation in the exiting site. Gradually, realized that we need more inculsion, through design and spaces

The hotel organically grew to encompass life and the implementation of the kund was done to capture the sky in the space itself; the kund was a mirror for the blue open sky. A lovely cafe was designed to bring a dimension of relaxation to a movement space. A small gesture to show the multiple facets of a space.

ANQA is a gesture to our society, or environment and the current condition of Taloja, Navi Mumbai.

The site given to us was an empty barren plot full of potential near to the Taloja river. The same river has been complained against multiple times for it being the dump for all the industrial waste and sullage.

From dogs turning blue and water being harmful for health, The project was named “The Land Of Green And Blue”.

ANQA is a cry for a better, green and more sustainable way of living in a industry driven Taloja.

The thought process for Anqa was creating a space for all and simultaneously giving the earth space to breathe.

A space with an ecosystem of itself. A sustainable housing that is a testiment to what Taloja can be

Flowing spaces for movement and activity, complimented with spaces for pause.

Playing with levels and heights allowed for movements and acitivities not possible with a normal movement pattern. A lesson learnt from Leni

A key focus for anqa to provide connectivity in the horizontal as well as the vertical plane; as seen in the elevation above and the section below. These passages weaved an important network.

YUVA competition was an all In dia incubators program, in which we designed a application for sustainable use of art supplies and products.

The app is targetted was towards users in creative fields

The Office 2500 was competition to create what an office would look like in the future.

I went with a rather utopian view (dystopian to many) by assuming offices to be floating in space with artificial atmospheres and tunnel transportation.

The cloud house was a project that gave us a brief to design a house in the clouds for Elon Musk.

Playing with the lightness and buoyant nature of clouds; I designed these spheres generatively through grasphopper and rhino.
