There is a need for sustainability but it is often overshadowed by the initial cost that is required to start with a realistic project.
The fact remains that there is always a gesture given towards sustainability but although this exists, the inclination towards it is not enough to make a change.
The users can’t be blamed because most clients cannot afford these materials and on the other hand the materials are being wasted and do not have a direction to be upcycled. An example of this is a packet of 16 by 16-inch tiles, a single unit of the tiles consist of 5 identical standard tiles. Even if a single tile is used and there is no further use for the tiles, the entire unit has gone to waste i.e., they cannot be returned.
The question arises,
What do we do with the remaining tiles?
Do we hoard them or dispose them off?
That's where Brift comes in.
