In the center of old campus sits one of the University’s most mysterious landmarks — the University seal. If you’re looking to get married, kiss your sweetheart there at midnight under a full moon; if you’re looking to break up, break hands and walk on opposite sides of the seal. The other myth is in order to pass all your classes you have to walk to the left of the seal. Best not test your luck. Math and Stats Tutoring Center: Drop-in service meant to help students with math or stats courses Writing Center: Helps students learn to edit their own work by encouraging revisions for clarity, organization and effectiveness Study Skills Center: Improves studying and textbook reading skills in order to apply those skills to college courses. All tutoring centers are free for University students.
