Since then we have attracted the very best of Broadway and West End shows to Ireland, becoming the no 1 theatre in Ireland. Designed by renowned architect, Daniel Liebeskind, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is quite simply a beautiful building, imagined and designed for spectacular events. We are the natural choice to host your private event.

With superb natural light, great angles and stunning spaces we will provide a show stopping back drop for your next event. We have the technical and event expertise, which, combined with your vision, will bring your event to life.

With seating for 2,111 people, a stage and an orchestral pit, this is a theatre built for theatre. On those days when we don’t have a public show, this is an incredible space for your event. The light coming through this space is spectacular. A space perfect for a product launch, there is flexibility to expand and use the Mezzanine on the level above.

The Mezzanine sits just above the foyer and provides great scope to design your bespoke event.

Combined with the Foyer, this space could really work for your product launch, allowing your new proposition to shine on the best stage in town. The space can also be used separately for smaller events.

THE CIRCLE CLUB

The Circle Club is the private members club at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. With beautiful views over Grand Canal Basin and seating for up to 120, this is a beautiful space to entertain your guests.

We’ve hosted table quizzes, dinner parties, networking events and more in The Circle Club.

The terrace bar sits on the top floor of the theatre and opens out into an open air terrace where you and your guests can peep over the edge to the wonderful Grand Canal. Ideal for a celebration, a party or an informal get-together, this area is all about moving around, mingling and having fun.

AT BORD GÁIS ENERGY THEATRE, GOOD FOOD IS CENTRAL TO OUR OFFERING. Our in-house chef will work with you to create interesting, delicious and impactful menus that will bring another dimension to your event, while meeting your specific needs, tastes and budgets.

Canapés Our canapé selection includes firm favourites such as Mini Traditional Fish and Chips with Tartare Sauce and Mini beef burgers with Cheddar and Tomato Relish and more exotic options such as Griddled Tiger Prawn with gentle Thai spicing, Cucumber & Chilli Dipping Sauce, Whipped Goat’s Cheese Tart with Beetroot, Relish & Pistachio or Smoked Mackerel Pate with Horseradish, Gooseberry Relish & Pickled Carrot on Soda Bread.

Supper Bowls For something heartier and more wholesome, our supper bowl options are a real hit with tasty dishes such as Handmade Cocktail Cumberland Sausage, Mustardy Mash, Red Onion Gravy drizzle bowl, our mouth-watering Indian-spiced Chicken Curry, served with lemon rice, crispy poppadoms and pomegranate riata and the trendy Luxury Mac n’ Cheese with Shaved Black Truffle and Sourdough Crumble.

Sweets For those with a sweet tooth, finish off with dessert, from our exquisite Mini Chocolate Cups with Salted Caramel and Chocolate Ganache to Mini Lemon meringue pies which are the perfect combination of citrusy and sweet!
