We were today’s year old when realize that DEI is just their way of saying DIE .This administration has taken the liberty of erasing everything pertaining to African American History! It started with removing the study of Americas blood thirsty heritage in schools by omitting the slavery era. In early March news spread of Arlington National Cemetery scrubbing its website information and educational materials of the history of black and female service members in an attempt to strip the legacy of our heroes. Removed from the site were veterans who had received the nation's highest military recognition, the Medal of Honor, according to military news site Task & Purpose. These efforts by President Donald Trump to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices in the military and throughout the federal government. It is here that I make the case that Black Publications must take a solid stand. If they can’t bury us they want to erase us! Your voice is your power; do not stand by and let this administration erase it.

Imagine a world where women are empowered to create their dream lives and relationships As a dating and relationship coach, I'm honored to be part of this vision I'm Victoria Pittman, founder of The Vibrant Society LLC, where I bring 20 years of experience in banking, project management, and Christian leadership, combined with my certification as a Life Coach. These experiences have allowed me to create a unique blend of skills that fosters a supportive atmosphere of empathy, strategy, and spiritual insight for my clients. Our mission at The Vibrant Society is to empower women in their 30s to 40s to Dream Big, Discover You, and Find Love. I help women shatter barriers and limits that are holding them back, unlocking their full potential and confidence. We achieve this through transformation, self-exploration, relationship development, and dating insights. Through my signature program, "Dream Big, Love Bigger: Keys to Unlocking Your Dream Life and Dream Man," women embark on a transformative 12-week journey, discovering how to harness their imagination, intuition, and creativity, while gaining valuable insights into men, relationship skills, and dating in a supportive group environment

What were some of the roadblocks along your journey?

One of the biggest obstacles I faced was discovering who I truly was, beyond the titles and roles that defined me At 24, I lost my father, my mother faced a health crisis, my faith community disbanded, and I lost my corporate job With siblings in college relying on me, I felt lost, angry, sad, and numb But in that darkness, I found a spark within me that ignited a journey of self-discovery and inner healing. Though I was alone to figure it out, I knew God was with me, guiding me through the darkness. Through journaling, introspection, and self-reflection, I uncovered my strengths, values, and passions. As I navigated adulthood, I went from being naive about dating to experiencing a non-existent dating life, and eventually, to thriving in meaningful relationships with highquality men who respected and valued me. Today, I feel abundant, fulfilled, and resilient, yet I remain open to continued growth and evolution. I'm grateful for the journey that has led me to this place, and I'm excited to see what the future holds. I'm still unfolding, still growing, and still discovering the best version of myself

In my twenties, I discovered my gift as a compassionate listener, which led to women from all walks of life sharing their stories with me Their stories revealed a common desire for success, fulfillment, and real, healthy love. However, many feel trapped in a cycle of settling for relationships that may look perfect on paper or fulfill their physical desires, but secretly leave them feeling broken, sad, confused, and alone. As a romantic, I believe love is for everyone, and my why is to help women discover their own worth and break free from this cycle of bad decisions. My clients have reported feeling empowered to take control of their dating lives, build confidence, and develop healthier relationships. I'm passionate about providing personalized guidance, practical tools, and unwavering support to help women attract fulfilling partnerships. My coaching is not just about finding love - it's about discovering your own strength, resilience, and worth Now, I'd love to support you on your own journey to love and fulfillment - book a free Discovery Call with me today!

What would you tell your 18 year old self if you could turn back time?

If I could go back in time, I'd tell my 18-year-old self to leave that boy alone! I had a major crush on him in high school, and we finally got together. It was a fun, wild ride, but looking back, I wish I'd listened to my intuition After graduation, I heard a voice in my head telling me to break up with him, but I ignored it Big mistake Holding on to that relationship led to major heartache that lasted years Here's what I'd tell my younger self: listen to your intuition the first time, focus on having fun and building friendships in college, and don't stress about marriage - it'll come in time Find yourself first, girl! If I'd listened to my inner voice, I might have saved myself some serious pain. But hey, that relationship taught me to love fully and let go when it's time. So, take it from me: trust your instincts and don't be afraid to move on, there is greater waiting for you.

Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show, filled with symbolism and references, aimed to expose the Black experience in America, highlighting issues of injustice, broken promises, and the pursuit of a better future, all while celebrating Black culture and artistry. Stepping to the stage was Uncle Sam; actor Samuel Jackson who lays out the rules of this game. Lamar's opening line, "40 acres and a mule, this is bigger than the music," directly referenced the failed promise of reparations committing that there will be no reparations for the Black American. The message of the flag woven together in a tapestry of black bodies states that country has been built not just on but of Black people. On both sides people expressed confusion and frustration over the performance. Many complaining they were expecting to be entertained not part of a political expression. The performance took place in what appeared to be a prison yard, a powerful visual representation of mass incarceration and the disproportionate impact on Black communities. . This setting was a stark reminder of the systemic barriers that continue to affect marginalized communities. As the music pulsed, dancers clad in uniforms reminiscent of prison attire moved in unison, their choreography telling a story of resilience and defiance. Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show reportedly got 125 FCC complaints, some mentioning a celebrity squabble between Drake and Lamar. The halftime show was not just entertainment; rather a call to action. AS IT TURNS OUT: THE REVOLUTION WILL BE TELEVISED.

The art of drying flowers is a practice that transforms ephemeral blooms into enduring keepsakes, preserving their beauty and essence long after their season has passed. This age-old technique not only captures the delicate structure and vibrant colors of flowers but also allows us to create unique, everlasting arrangements that can adorn our homes throughout the year. Whether displayed in shadow boxes, woven into wreaths, or simply gathered in a vase, dried flowers add a touch of nature's elegance to any space. The process requires patience and attention to detail, ensuring each petal and stem is treated with care to maintain its charm and grace. Dried flowers are used in bouquet scented candles, soaps, bath salts and even teas

IYKYK FAFO

If you know, you know but if you don’t you can fool around and find out.

Fool around and find out. Let me clear, although this phenom is taking place globally, we are not above dishing it out to whomever needs it. FAFO" is an internet acronym that stands for "F*** Around and Find Out," Since we are gentlemen here at the king’s table we use the word “Fool” with the same strength and warning that foolish actions will lead to consequences. It's often used in memes and social media captions, particularly in online spaces like TikTok and Twitter. What did these trumpers think would happen? Once again not understanding how important immigrant workers are. Better start picking your fruits and having gardens again. Speaking of farming the T-0 community just realized that without support farmers couldn’t afford farming equipment. Is FAFO less funny when it’s a celebrity married to an immigrant getting deported?

Even more hilarious but somberly true are stories of DOGE losing 45% of their staff who were white women … could it be because they fall under DEI!? While DEI initiatives are designed to uplift marginalized groups, data suggests that white women have disproportionately benefited from affirmative action and corporate DEI efforts, particularly in terms of career advancement. Here's a more detailed explanation: White women's gains under DEI, although Black women prove to be twice as educated and more experienced the Studies indicate that white women have made significant strides in leadership roles and higher-paying positions, potentially exceeding other racial and gender groups in promotions to the C-suite. My all time favorite FAFO moment is when black Trump supporters show up expecting to be welcomed only to be greeted with disdain and humiliation.

It could just be me; but I can t wait until the first day of Spring so that I can go under my bed and pull out my trunk to pack away the heavy solemn wardrobe of winter. Now, granted I am not an overly girly girl but I do adore a blush of pink and a ray of golden yellows in my Spring wardrobe. Let me show you In a few steps how to make your wardrobe sing “Spring Butterfly” without looking like a character out of an Easter story, unless that’s your thing- no judgment here! Make your baseline white- this way you’re basically starting with a blank canvas. Easy to build up on

Keep it Classic - trendy is cute but very very limited, year to year. And always remember that Spring is reflected in earth tones as well. Soft brown is just as refreshing as pink.

Add a Pop of Color - Once you have your classic white pieces in place, start introducing splashes of color that remind you of blooming flowers and sunny skies. Think pastel blues, soft greens, or even a gentle lavender to bring a fresh, lively feel to your outfits.

Layer with Light Fabrics - As the weather warms up, layering becomes your best friend. Opt for light, breathable fabrics like cotton or linen that keep you comfortable and stylish. A flowing cardigan or a delicate scarf can add both warmth and flair to your look without feeling heavy.

Accessorize with Nature-Inspired Pieces - Accessories can really elevate your spring wardrobe. Consider jewelry or handbags in floral patterns, or choose items with organic shapes and textures. A straw hat or a woven bag can add that perfect touch of spring charm.

Mix Patterns Wisely - Don’t shy away from mixing patterns, but do so thoughtfully. Pairing a striped shirt with a floral skirt can add an element of fun while keeping it sophisticated. Just ensure that the colors complement each other to maintain harmony in your ensemble.

By following these tips, your wardrobe will effortlessly transition into the new season, full of life and vibrancy, ready to embrace the beauty of spring.

TheKaleidoscopeofLife

Life is a lot like a kaleidoscope constantly shifting, bursting with unexpected colors, patterns, and turns. One moment it’s all joy and laughter, and the next it’s heartache and tears. What I’ve come to understand is that every turn of life brings a new arrangement, and with each shift, we are invited to meet the moment with honesty.

For a long time, I thought faith meant always being strong, always having the right words, always pushing through with a smile. But real faith doesn’t deny real emotions it welcomes them.

Jesus Himself showed us this. He wept at the tomb of Lazarus (John 11:35), showed sorrow in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:38), and even expressed frustration and righteous anger in the temple (Matthew 21:12-13). The Son of God didn’t mask His feelings He modeled what it means to be fully present, fully feeling, and still fully surrendered to the Father.

When life surprises us with beauty, we’re allowed to laugh without guilt. When it brings grief, we are permitted to cry without shame. Emotions are not a sign of weakness they are signals of our humanity, gifts from a God who feels deeply Himself.

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens… a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance” (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4). This passage reminds me that I don’t have to rush through sadness to get to joy, nor do I have to fear that joy will be short-lived. Each feeling, like each turning of the kaleidoscope, has its place and its beauty.

The key is to bring every emotion every raw, unfiltered moment to God. “Cast all your cares on Him, because He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Not just the polished prayers or the “right” words, but the real stuff the heartbreak, the hope, the anger, the awe.

I’m learning to live in the shifting patterns of the kaleidoscope of life with open hands. To stop trying to freeze the beautiful moments in place or rush past the painful ones. Instead, I want to be present, honest, and anchored in the One who remains unchanging even as life turns.

Reflection Question:

Which emotion have I been hesitant to bring to God and what would it look like to invite Him into that space today?

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for being present in every part of my story the joyful, the painful, and the in-between. Help me to bring my full heart to You, without fear or filter. Remind me that You welcome my real emotions, and that Your grace is big enough to hold them all. Shape me through each turn of life’s kaleidoscope, and let me see Your beauty even in the shifting patterns. Amen

How is intentional parenting going for you? In my last article, we reflected on the importance of being purposeful in our parenting and how our values shape our approach. As spring approaches, let’s create meaningful, daily moments of connection—simple acts that strengthen your relationship and bring your parenting vision to life. Spring is filled with endless activity ideas: bucket lists, vacations, camps—you name it. But you can’t buy quality time with your family. You can only build it. This spring, keep it simple. Connect. Commit to spending just 10 minutes of daily quality time with your children. You might think that’s not much, but if you reflect on your day, you’d probably realize how often you're multitasking while engaging with them. No judgment. I do it too! But I can’t ask my kids to make eye contact and listen when I’m speaking, if I don’t model the same.

So when my kids ask me to play a game, I set a timer—usually 10 to 15 minutes—and give them my full attention. When the timer goes off, I might extend our play time or let them know I need to get back to work. Those small bursts of playtime are far more meaningful than an hour of half-hearted engagement. This spring, find simple ways to connect. At the dinner table, take turns telling jokes. Go on a mindfulness walk and talk about what you notice in nature. Play board games. Have a paint night or a dance party. However you choose to create memories, remember, connection is built through presence and playfulness. Give the gift of your presence this spring.

How to choose a Health Care Provider

Choosing the right health care provider is one of the most important decisions you can make for yourself and your family. The right provider will ensure you receive high-quality care, build a trusting relationship, and help you maintain your overall health. These tips will be helpful when seeking any health provider, whether you’re looking for a primary care doctor, a specialist, or a mental health professional. Start by determining your specific health care needs and the type of provider that best suits them. Understanding your own health concerns is crucial not only for selecting a provider but also for maintaining your well-being. Knowing whether you are you looking for a primary care provider for routine check-ups and general health maintenance or do you need a specialist for a specific or chronic condition. Make sure the provider’s office is conveniently located and easy for you to access. Consider travel time, parking availability, and public transportation options to ensure you can attend appointments without difficulty.

If you have a chronic condition or require specialized treatment, consider the provider’s experience and qualifications. Research how long they have been practicing and whether they have expertise in treating your specific condition. To avoid unexpected expenses, confirm that the provider is covered under your health insurance plan. Contact your insurance company or check the provider’s website to verify their participation in your plan.

Online reviews from sources like Zocdoc and Google Reviews can provide insight into a provider’s communication style, office environment, and overall patient satisfaction Whilereviews can be helpful, consider both positive and negative feedback to get a balanced perspective. Every provider has a different approach to patient care. Make sure their philosophy and treatment methods align with your personal health goals and preferences. If possible, schedule an initial consultation to discuss their approach and see if they are the right fit for you. By following these steps, you can choose a health care provider who meets your needs and helps you maintain your health effectively.

2025 the Transfer of Wealth

You don’t have to be religious to sense that God is doing something for His children The playing field is about to be leveled

A transfer of wealth is currently taking place in the Spiritual Realm. Proverbs 13:22 states, "The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just."

Earlier this year, many Spiritual Leaders have conveyed that God has addressed the unjust actions of this System of things His people and will no longer overlook the wrongdoing in the Marketplace. He reminds us of Proverbs 13:11: "Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow." Now is the moment to organize your financial affairs and embrace good stewardship.

Women who Network

Studies consistently prove that women who network are 65% more successful than their peers who are afraid to admit that they may need help.

Building connections not only leads to career advancement but also fosters a supportive community where individuals can share resources, insights, and encouragement. In today's fast-paced world, having a strong network can be a gamechanger, offering opportunities for collaboration and innovation that might otherwise remain out of reach By embracing the power of networking, women can inspire each other, break through barriers, and create a legacy of empowerment for future generations Whether through professional organizations, social media groups, or community events, the potential to learn and grow is limitless when we come together and lift each other up.

I will never apologize for my authentic love for my sisters, as I understand that few endure struggles like we do If I were to disregard Black women, it would make me unfaithful to our shared experiences
