GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY
Each year, one exceptional Club member is selected to be our Youth of the Year, serving as an ambassador for the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest youth as well as a voice for all our young people Over the decades, these individuals have exemplified the Boys & Girls Club mission and are proof to the impact Clubs make in transforming and saving kids’ lives.
Our Marlborough Clubhouse's young men ' s program, Man Cave, ran a food drive for people in need in our community They donated the food to the United Way Community Cupboard.
Part of Man Cave member's responsibility is to come up with a community project they can work on throughout the year. They figured it is a need to so many and wanted to do their part
Man Cave, formerly the Passport to Manhood program, encourages boys ages 8 to 14 to develop and mature into young men. The program represents a targeted effort to engage young boys in discussions and activities that reinforce character, leadership and positive behavior.
Man Cave members meet on Thursdays at 4pm in the Marlborough Clubhouse.
Our 2022 Youth of the Year, Victoria Mier, received a $1,000 scholarship from our Clubs for her exemplary work and for being the ideal Club member and role model. She is an alumni of the Hudson Clubhouse
Victoria is currently attending Curry College and is expected to graduate in 2026. She is still connected to the Club and works the front desk when she is home during college breaks.

Holiday Break 2022
BGCMW parents were given the option to sign their children up for our full day programming during the holiday break. All three of our Clubhouses were open from 8am-5:30pm. Fun specialized activities were planned for members for the week such as gingerbread house or cookie decorating, Igloo design, various STEM activities, gym games and more!

A special THANK YOU to DCU for Kids for donating a large amount of gifts for our Club families this holiday! We are very grateful for your support!
