NEW ADDITIONS New Ninja Course
Boys & Girls Club Marshfield has built a highly interactive Ninja Course Playground to continue our efforts to expand and improve the outdoor facilities for recreational use.Our new Ninja course is designed to encourage increased movement, agility, curiosity, and of course PLAY!
Power Aquatics Partnership
This summer Boys & Girls Club Marshfield partnered with Power Aquatics to expand our swim lesson offerings. Over the 7 weeks of programming more than 980 children participated in either community lessons or Power Aquatics’ standard programming , learning or strengthening their swim techniques. Power Aquatics also put a large emphasis on teaching safety and drowning prevention to each child, so they may be prepared for any situations they face on the water.
Mini Skateboard Ramp
Outdoor Basketball Hoops
Another exciting addition to the outdoor facilities is a mini half pipe skateboard ramp from the Levitate Music Festival. Skateboards, helmets, safety pads, and structured programming guides were also provided for kids ages 10+
This Summer, 2 New movable and adjustable basketball hoops were added to the outside Multi-purpose courts. This addition was made to assist in the variety of activities and gatherings that will now be possible in that outdoor space!

weeks of FUN! Fun in the sun, playing in the water, exploring the outdoors, and making new friends. Everyday presented a new adventure for more than 600 children who attended BGC Marshfield’s summer camp. Kids from ages 5 to 14 traveled from many of the surrounding communities and as far as New York to join in on the fun. Thanks to our loyal supporters, Boys & Girls Club Marshfield provided hundreds of camp scholarships and summer fun to children throughout the South Shore. Our goal is to ensure every child receives a Camp Experience!
ACHIEVEMENTS Sweet Frog Fundraiser
Boys & Girls Club Marshfield had the opportunity in late August to work with local frozen yogurt shop, Sweet Frog on a fun and collaborative fundraiser. Through the combined efforts and the support from the Marshfield community, we were able to raise enough money to aid BGC Lahaina in Maui County, Hawaii after the tragic Maui wildfires.
L.L. Bean Partnership On September 8th, L.L. Bean opened their 57th store at Hanover Crossing. In celebration L.L. Bean made a generous donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield. Thank you to L.L. Bean for supporting our South Shore youth programming!
