Letter from the Chairman It’s hard to believe the year is nearly half over! So many exciting things have been going on in our community so far in 2022. We have already had a record-breaking year on the economic development front. We were thrilled in April to officially welcome Envision AESC to Bowling Green as the company will be building an approximately three million square foot facility in the Kentucky Transpark and creating 2,000 great jobs for our residents over the next few years. Also in April, we held the 2022 Excellence Awards News Conference. Congratulations to Michele Humphrey with American Bank & Trust Co. on being named the 2022 ATHENA and to Mike Hughes with Cambridge Market & Cafe on being named our 2022 Small Business Person of the Year. We will honor these deserving recipients and name the 2022 Young ATHENA at our Excellence Awards Luncheon on May 10th. Summer is on the horizon which means it’s time for the annual Golf Classic. Spots are filling fast, so register today. Here’s to an amazing May! John Dix 2022 Chairman
