Taz Trucking was founded in 2004 by Tahir and Amira Zukic. It is their passion to provide clients with the best service possible when it comes to their trucking and transportation needs. Taz Trucking is fully equipped and capable of transporting dry and non-hazardous goods throughout the continental 48 United States. It is their goal to provide the very best service to all their customers.
When Tahir and his family moved to America in the year 2000, he purchased one truck that he drove himself. Fast forward to 2023, Taz Trucking has experienced extraordinary growth with over 120 trucks that travel across the country every day. General Manager, Erdin Zukic, expresses his thanks to the community, “We would not be where we are today without the support of our amazing community and the people that live here.”
Tahir’s success has enabled him to support several local projects. One project includes promoting Bowling Green with rolling billboards on his Taz Trucking trucks. Hundreds of tractor-trailers promoted Bowling Green with signs reading “Bowling Green, Kentucky – Voted Best Place to Live by Time Magazine.”
Tahir says, “For my success, I think I need to give back to Bowling Green. Johnny Webb, former Mayor of Bowling Green, came up with the idea that we could put signs on the back of the trucks to promote Bowling Green throughout the United States. I like to show the United States how nice of a place Bowling Green is.”
Tahir and Amira take great pride in being part of the Bowling Green community and are amazed by the continued growth and development happening here. They support several local nonprofit organizations including Operation Pride, Bosnian Islamic Center of Bowling Green, Bosnian American Association, Toys for Tots, Kelly Autism Program, Junior Achievement, and ARTS of Southern Kentucky. Taz Trucking has been a partner of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce for many years now, and Tahir was named Small Business Person of the Year in 2021.
We are greatly appreciative of the support the Bowling Green Chamber shows to Taz Trucking. We look forward to hosting Coffee Hour on June 2nd at La Gala and are excited to welcome Amy Milliken as the featured speaker!
We would not be where we are today without the support of our amazing community and the people that live here.
