As The Murphy Construction Group celebrates its 40 th year in business it is easy to recognize how they have contributed to the progress and transformation of our local area. They have performed literally thousands of projects while holding a high standard of excellence for their customers with creative visions, integrity, and responsiveness to their needs. They execute professional, quality work on-schedule with consistently competitive pricing.
Since 1983, Scott & Murphy, Inc. and Scott, Murphy & Daniel, LLC has grown and emerged as the area ’s leader in the construction industry. As they continually look towards the future, The Murphy Construction Group recently made the decision to transition into a 100% Employee -Owned, ESOP company. With this change comes an even stronger foundation for the company and a long-term investment in its future. When you look at the consistent growth of our community, we continue to see construction demands on the rise. The new employee ownership plan will provide a valuable benefit to help attract and retain the best talent for The Murphy Construction Group. With the best team of professionals from laborers to project managers, it insures our plan for the next generation for 40 years.
Building a facility for your business, church or school is one of the largest and most important investments you will ever make. There are numerous factors to consider before a build, and the team of professionals at The Murphy Construction Group is there to help you every step of the way. They analyze specific needs and examine all the possibilities and options to ensure the maximum value for your investment. They truly believe you should enjoy the process of building your project; and you should be proud of it when it is completed. A project built by The Murphy Construction Group is not expensive, it is
Greetings, everyone!
As we enter March, we can look forward to the arrival of spring. I want to express my gratitude to all who participated in our Annual Celebration in January. It was a tremendous success, featuring guest speaker Adam Nuse and ample networking opportunities.
In January, we were delighted to announce the expansion of Carter Lumber’s building component manufacturing facility in the Kentucky Transpark. This development, made possible by an $8.6 million investment, will create 36 new jobs in addition to the 50 jobs announced in 2017.
Later this month, we will be hosting the 6th annual WE3 Women’s Leadership event. This event sold out last year, so be sure to get your tickets by clicking here before they’re gone! It’s already been an exceptional start to 2023, and you can make the most of the excitement by growing your business and forging valuable Chamber connections. I encourage you to attend one of our upcoming networking events.
