Happy New Year and welcome to 2023!

I am very honored and excited to serve as your 2023 Chamber Board Chairman.

After an amazing 2022 in Economic Development and our partners successes, I cannot wait to see what our Chamber and community has in store for us next!

Nowhere else in our great country are there such awesome community partners and elected leadership.

The Chamber’s 88th Annual Celebration is set for January 24th presented by Graves Gilbert Clinic. Join us as we highlight the 2022 accomplishments and milestones of the Chamber, our partners, and volunteer awards.

Don’t miss the opportunity to network and hear from our keynote speaker, Adam Nuse, Senior VP of Business Operations for the Tennessee Titans.

To date we have had 143 students participate in 13 events for the school year of 2022-23. Thank you to all local businesses that have participated so far this year. Career Shadowing is a career connection experience in which students gain deeper knowledge through “a day in the life” of professionals within a business.

AGRI-BUSINESS DAY

On November 16th the Leadership Bowling Green Class of ‘23 visited New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding, Western Kentucky University’s Exposition Center, Chaney’s Dairy Barn, and Triple Oaks Farms for Agri-Business day. Throughout the day, the class enjoyed tours and discussion with local farmers and business owners. The class’s farm experience ranged from generational family farming to those who had never stepped foot on a farm. The class walked away from the day with new experiences and a greater insight on how our local community is impacted by Agri-Business.

EDUCATION DAY

On December 7th, the Leadership Bowling Green Class of ‘23 visited Cumberland Trace Elementary, GEO International High School, SKYCTC, and WKU. The class heard from panels including superintendents, principals, teachers, counselors, and educators from our Bowling Green Independent Schools, Warren County Public Schools, SKYCTC, and WKU. Class members had a deep dive into K-12, higher education, and solutions for future workforce in the area.
