A WORD FROM...
THE CHAMBER
"I am proud to reflect on 2025 as a truly standout year for our vision of becoming a thriving community and a hub for economic development. Our local businesses seized the exciting opportunities that came with 21 expansion projects that totaled $326M in capital investments and created 642 new jobs. The Kentucky Transpark, our Intermodal Transportation Authority, continued to experience impressive growth, now employing over 4,100 individuals—a 5% increase from just last year. With 87% of our Chamber partners being small businesses, we are deeply committed to supporting and strengthening our local community. In collaboration with our regional partners, we have seen significant economic impact, with over 1,594 new jobs being created in the South Central Kentucky area. As we move forward in our pursuit of community success, we are excited about the unique opportunities on the horizon for our residents, our businesses, and the greater Bowling Green community.
In recognition of this momentum, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce was honored with the Mac Conway Award for Excellence in Economic Development for the fourth time in five years—an accolade that also contributed to our #1 Back-To-Back Ranking by Site Selection Magazine
Together, we are building a bright future— one that offers something valuable for everyone. The best is yet to come!"
RON BUNCH, President & CEO Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce
