April 2022

Letter from the Chairman Spring is finally here! I know we are all excited for the days to be getting longer and for the warm weather fun on the horizon. Speaking of which, the Chamber has so many fun events coming up that you won’t want to miss. So be sure to peruse through the following pages so you don’t miss a thing! This past month was an exciting one as the Chamber hosted the annual We3 Women’s Conference presented by Graves Gilbert Clinic. Over 220 women attended the day-long conference at the National Corvette Museum and heard from amazing motivational speakers, shopped at vendor booths, networked with other professional women, and more. This month, we will be announcing the 2022 ATHENA and Small Business Person of the Year award winners at the Excellence Awards News Conference on April 19 at 10:30 AM at the Chamber. We hope you will make plans to attend and help us honor these deserving recipients. Activity has been ramping up on the Economic Development side of the house as well. Year to date, the Chamber has closed one economic development project in South Central Kentucky, totaling $15 million in capital investment. Site Selection Magazine has also ranked Bowling Green as Top Six Tier 2 Metro for nine consecutive years, placing second this year nationwide! As always, we are so grateful for your partnership with the Chamber. We consistently strive to make Bowling Green the best it can be, and we couldn’t do that without the support of businesses like yours!
