Program Overview Key Points
BGCD is unique in that it offers Early Education & Care to infants beginning at two months of age through kindergarten enrollment. Early Education and care is not commonly offered at other Boys & Girls Clubs. The program provides parents with highquality, affordable childcare that supports the academic, social-emotional, and physical development of young children to fully prepare them to successfully enter kindergarten.
• BGCD’s Licensed Childcare Program serves infants, toddlers, preschool and K1
• Trained and knowledgeable staff foster learning in an atmosphere of play
• Extended day programs are offered year-round in Boston Public School K1DS classrooms
• Research-based curriculum aligns with MA standards and guidelines
The programs are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
