PADUCAH CITY HALL - PADUCAH, KY Marcum and Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing were hired to lead design for a complete exterior rehabilitation and limited interior rehabilitation on this local landmark. The project earned a Kentucky Preservation Award.

Our expertise includes transportation infrastructure, landfill permits, design of earth dams, foundation investigations for industrial/commercial buildings and towers, and auger cast and steel pile designs. We are AASHTO accredited (R-18), CCRL (Cement and Concrete Reference Lab) accredited and validated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
GEOSPACIAL TECHNOLOGIES LiDAR: Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. has the in-house capability of providing 3D Mobile Mapping / LiDAR using the Trimble MX2. This is a vehicle-mounted spatial imaging system which combines high-resolution laser scanning and precise positioning. The data collected offers a wide range of transportation and civil design applications.
3D LASER SCANNING: 3D high-density laser scanning services using a Faro Focus 3D laser scanner. The Faro Focus 3D laser scanner uses the latest technology available. They are smaller, lighter, 5 to 10 times faster, more precise, and have a longer range than older generation HD scanning technology. UNMANNED AERIAL SERVICES: The Wingtraone dual rotor VTOL drone and the Parrot Anafi thermal drone are used for data capture. The Wingtraone is one of the most exclusive fixed wing mapping drones in the industry.
