Any young man or woman making satisfactory progress towards completion of the eighth grade may apply for admission to Bishop Fenwick High School. Application for Admission (9th Grade) requires the following: • Complete the Parent and Student Applications and return to the Admissions Office by December 20, 2013. • Complete the top sections of the School Transcript Form and forward to the student’s present school. The school will forward the completed transcript information to Bishop Fenwick High School. For Admission to the 9th Grade, the following is required: – Final Grades from 7th grade – Current Grades (1st marking period) from 8th Grade – Standardized Test Results • Register for and take the High School Placement Test. Bishop Fenwick is a Test Center for the High School Placement Test which will be given on Saturday, November 16, 2013 and Saturday, December 14, 2013. To register to take the test at Bishop Fenwick, complete the test registration card, include the test fee and forward to the Admissions Office. When taking the test be sure to designate Bishop Fenwick (code #35) to receive the results of the test. Notification of Acceptance will be sent on February 3, 2014. THERE IS NO APPLICATION FEE AT BISHOP FENWICK HIGH SCHOOL. Admission to the freshman class at Bishop Fenwick is determined by a variety of factors: Grades from 7th and 8th grade, results from the High School Placement Test or SSAT, Standardized Test Results, and completed transcripts from the current principal, guidance counselor, or teacher. Personal interviews are not required for admission to the freshman class. For information regarding transfer students, please contact the Admissions Office.
