Bishop Fenwick High School Community Service Award Each year, this award is given to a student who serves the Fenwick community, by being the first to lend a helping hand with a school project or event, and the wider community, by providing time, talent, support, and assistance to those who are most in need. Our mission is to live the gospel message and to follow the example of Jesus, serving our sisters and brothers with compassion, empathy, hope, and love. This student exemplifies these deeply Christian, truly human virtues.

Presented to: Bridget Goldsworthy Brown University Book Award Brown University honors the junior who best combines academic excellence with clarity in written and spoken expression. Those who use words effectively will be the leaders in their generation. In them we invest our hope; to them we accord our respect. With this award, we salute their potential.

Presented to: Noelle Waterman Clarkson University Achievement & Leadership Awards These awards are presented to two students who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities, and have an academic interest in Business, Engineering, Healthcare, Science, or Liberal Arts and has been a positive contributor to the school and their community.

Dartmouth College Book Award Presented to the junior who is an exceptional student and participates in a variety of extracurricular activities. This individual possesses exceptional moral character and demonstrates great promise for future success.

Presented to: Jackson Cody Endicott College Book Award Endicott College welcomes the opportunity to partner with Bishop Fenwick High School to celebrate exceptional students.

Presented to: Christopher Connors Harvard Club of Boston James R. Brady Book Award This award is in memory of James R. Brady, Jr., who was a 1967 Bishop Fenwick graduate. Mr. Brady was a dedicated man who lived a full life and committed himself to the improvement of Bishop Fenwick High School. He was the epitome of a self-made man. This Harvard Book Award was established to serve as a fitting memorial to Jim Brady’s legacy of service and selfless spirit. The student receiving this award exemplifies excellence in scholarship and high moral character combined with achievement in other fields.

Presented to: Madison O’Brien Harvard Club of the North Shore Book Award Awarded to an outstanding junior who displays excellence in academics and high moral character combined with achievement in other fields. The recipient of this award, through their intelligence and variety of achievements, exemplifies Harvard’s dedication to excellence.

Presented to: Sarah Shann High Point University Sophomore Book Award This award is distinguished honor of sophomore high school students who not only show great academic social prowess but also model an intuitive growth mindset and demonstrated excellence inside and outside of the classroom, while also striving to make a difference in the community. This is an individual who leads by example, understands the importance of academic endeavors, and honors a commitment to improving today’s community.

Presented to: Sophia Poto Lasell University Book Award The Lasell University Book Award honors students who embody the Lasell motto, Repulsae Nescia (Ignorant of Defeat). The recipient should consistently pursue the greatest version of themselves. In short, they never seem to quit!

Presented to: Isabella Gandra Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Medal/Award Certificate Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute recognizes students who demonstrate potential for success in challenging academic settings. University of Rochester Frederick Douglass & Susan B. Anthony Social Science Award This award honors the junior student who has integrated the wisdom found in the study of the humanities and social sciences with leadership skills and a genuine desire to serve both the local and global communities.

Presented to: Maeve O’Donnell University of Rochester George Eastman Young Leaders Award This award is being presented to a junior who has demonstrated academic achievement and is a proven leader in the classroom and in the school community. This award recognizes future leaders who may have a similar impact on our world today.

Presented to: Nolan Topp University of Vermont This award is presented to a deserving junior who has demonstrated both outstanding dedication to scholarship inside the classroom and impressive duty to citizenship outside the classroom.

Presented to: David Kolenda Yale University Book Award Presented to a junior for outstanding personal character and intellectual promise.

Ralph W. LeDuc Trustee Award Mr. Ralph LeDuc started at Bishop Fenwick in 1962 and retired in 2004 after 42 years of service. During his tenure, Mr. LeDuc was a teacher, coach, athletic director, principal for 21 years, and major gifts officer. He was the prime mover in the expansion and renovation of our athletic fields, computer technology, art facilities, and science labs. His passion and commitment to the quality and growth of Bishop Fenwick and his love for the Fenwick Family are limitless. The Ralph W. LeDuc Trustee Award is presented to a junior who has significantly contributed to the betterment of Bishop Fenwick through action, attitude, and accomplishment. The key element for this award is that “the recipient’s efforts have helped make Fenwick a better place.”
