Reverend Catherine Onwioduokit of Ghana is fondly called Mama Cathy. She is the Founding President of Family Renaissance International formerly called, Women in the gap which was founded on June 22, 2002 in Accra Ghana. The Ministry has a mandate that looks at relationship, marriage and

family with the vision of restoring dignity back to the family for enhanced church and National development. The Ministry’s assignment is explained by the acronym, TIME which stands for:

*Teaching

*Intercession

*Mentoring

*Evangelistic.

Mama Cathy is deeply passionate about helping people manage emotions for maximum productivity. Seeing Marriage thrive and children growing up to love God because of the peace the enjoyed in their homes. She is deeply touched by people’s brokenness because she was once there. She holds a weekly teaching and fellowship,intercessorywhere the broken hearted are ministered to.

Additionally, for almost 17years, she hosts a weekly radio broadcast to reach more of those who can’t be met physically. Apart from holding the different programs to help the singles and married. She believes in touching lives and giving back to the society. That drove her and her Ministry to adopting a very remote village of Badukrom in the Central Region of Ghana where

children where walking not less that 4kilometers to and from the nearest school, as told by the somecommunity, of those little ones where knocked down sometimes by vehicles. Together with her team, they constructed a three classroom block, with a head teachers office, a store, urinary and toilets to allow the children get quality education at no stress and cost . The school has been running for the past 5 years with the sole responsibility of the financial burden on the Ministry with their very meagre resources. This she does to show the love of Christ to the underprivileged. She and her team are also committed to orphanages,supporting hospitals, at least once or twice a year. Widows and missionaries are on a monthly support also in a bit of showing Christ love.

From last year March during the Covid-19 lockdown, the Ministry has operated without an office, because they decided to put up a permanent structure of their own to help in solidifying the administrative structure for more functioning. The resources have ran out but they trust God to make a way because that will serve as a Counseling and prayer hub for Accra and beyond. Apart from the above, Mama Cathy and her team are dedicated to reaching out to the younger generation in schools beginning from the primary to the tertiary on an outreach program dubbed: Student Healthy Sexuality Program. This requires a lot of mobilization for the team to reach out to as many schools as possible. The Program has been halted

for now but they hope to get back on track once things normalize a bit. Mama Cathy has a heart for God and also for making the love of Christ palpable through good works. God rewards motive not just actions and Mama Cathy is a testimony of a beneficiary of God’s faithfulness and goodness. Family Renaissance International, seeks to do more. Her dream is to build a rehabilitation/ skill acquisition center for women in abusive relationship and street children once the Secretariat is completed by the grace of God.

Mama Cathy also mentors several young people on a spiritual and professional level, a regular guest on several TV stations on relationship and family life issues.
