H e ’s A l w a y s T h e r e Fo r M e some in the bathroom and living room wherever we could find a place to position o u r s e l v e s f o r p r a ye r. T h i s occurred each time we were there with them. There was a time I wanted to v i s i t m y g r a n d m o t h e r, h o w e v e r it was raining and my parents d i d n’ t o w n a c a r. M y m o t h e r s a i d i f i t s t o p p e d r a i n i n g, s h e w o u l d t a k e m e t o s e e h e r. I immediately went to the back door of the house and asked God to stop the rain so I c o u l d v i s i t m y g r a n d m o t h e r. The rain stopped just as it did for Elijah the Prophet. Praise God what a miracle for m e a t a yo u n g a g e o f f o u r t o e x p e r i e n c e.
As small girl, I recall my g r a n d f a t h e r, Ja m e s S t r o t h e r l e a d i n g p r a ye r i n h i s h o m e. H e a l o n g w i t h m y grandmother Irene had ten children. M y f a t h e r, m o t h e r, t h r e e b r o t h e r s , aunts, uncles and their children, w o u l d f i l l t h e h o u s e. We w e r e o n o u r k n e e s , i n t h e k i t c h e n , o n t h e s t a i r w a y,
Later in life as a child playing with my siblings, I experienced the most horrific a t t a c k o n m y s m a l l b o d y. I would be playing with my brothers and we were jumping on the bed and all o f a s u d d e n , m y e ye s r o l l e d back into my head as someone d y i n g. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
