Be committed Take your advocacy to the next level: Become a Green Devil

Go paperless

Green Devil training teaches sustainable culture at ASU through workshops led by department directors and sustainability scientists. Trained Green Devils are qualified to implement change in their departments with the knowledge and tools provided in the trainings.

Share files electronically via shared drives or email rather than printing them to save paper. Departments can also turn their scrap paper into notepads for free.

Visit cfo.asu.edu/personal-action to become a Green Devil.

Recognize your sustainable actions ASU’s Sustainability Certification program helps Sun Devils contribute to ASU’s sustainability goals. Participants are guided through various of sustainability tasks centered around energy, waste and water. You, your team and your department can receive certification. Certifications are available for classrooms, housing, labs, offices, shops, sports, student events and staff event planners. To learn more and enroll in a Canvas course certification, please visit cfo.asu.edu/sustainability-certification-program.

Send the scrap paper to the ASU Print and Imaging Lab on the Polytechnic campus via ASU Mail Services with your department’s mail code and delivery information. The lab will send back a notepad made of your scrap paper. Another method in reducing paper waste at your office is using Adobe Sign. Not only does this reduce paper waste, but it also streamlines document submissions and signatures. To save additional paper, consider unsubscribing from physical mail when possible. For example, employees can opt to receive a digital version of ASU Thrive magazine instead of a physical copy. To unsubscribe from the physical copy, visit print.asu.edu/mag/unsubscribe.
