Join us for a special event with Rachael Johns on Friday 05 September, the highly acclaimed and awardwinning author from Western Australia. Thanks to funding from the State Library of WA, we have the unique opportunity to bring this beloved author to Beverley for an intimate event you won’t want to miss. Starting at 10.30am then finishing with a light lunch, listening to Rachael speak about her life, her books, and her journey as a writer. The next market will be celebrating Fathers Day. Join us at the Beverley Town Hall on Saturday 06 September. There will be plenty of stalls stocking lots of gift ideas for dad. The BBQ will be in action with egg and bacon rolls and sausage sizzle. There’s a beautiful food hamper raffle to win. Proceeds support Beverley Junior Sport.
Jive/Rock ‘N’ Roll group is back on Friday’s at the RSL Hall starting at 7pm. Great fun for all skill levels, bring a friend along to join in the dancing. For more information contact Bob on 0447 515 153.
Stay Active, gentle exercise sessions for seniors and others, are held on Tuesday mornings at 9.00am at the Recreation Centre, cost $1. Newcomers always welcome, just turn up.

This talented duo are developing a shared practice involving dance film and a ceramic sound installation. If you are curious about what this means, call in and see them until the end of August. The Beverley Agricultural Machinery Museum collection (located at Avondale Farm just 5.5kms from town along Waterhatch Road) will be open to the public on Saturday 28 September between 9.00am and 3.00pm. Entry is free. The Museum houses nearly 150 years of Wheatbelt Farming Machinery. Ring John on 9646 0768 for a private viewing appointment or further information regarding volunteering and restoration.
