UPCOMING COMMUNITY EVENTS & NOTICES

BEVERLEY AG MACHINERY MUSEUM

The Beverley Agricultural Machinery Museum collection (located at Avondale Farm just 5.5kms from town along Waterhatch Road) will be open to the public on 26 October between 9.00am and 3.00pm. Entry is free. The museum houses nearly 150 years of Wheatbelt farming machinery. Ring John on 9646 0768 for a private viewing appointment or further information regarding volunteering and restoration.

OPEN HOUSE

All members of the local community are invited to enjoy good company, conversation, and refreshments at an OPEN HOUSE at St Mary’s Hall/ One Tree Café on Friday 25 October between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. Please do come and along and have a great time!

PARENTS GROUP - WEDNESDAY MORNINGS

Join us for our first Parents Group on Wednesday mornings, at 9:00am at Moort Wabiny Park. This free group is a great opportunity for parents and babies (aged 0-2 years) to socialise. Please bring your own drinks and snacks. For more information, contact Jaime at 0416 461 146.

UNWANTED SPECTACLES FOR CHARITY

The Beverley CRC are collecting used spectacles and recycling to persons in need. If you have any unwanted pairs that you would like to donate, please drop-off them off at the front reception at the Beverley CRC.

UKULELE PLAYERS WANTED

Do you play the ukulele? Are you interested in learning how to play? We are a small group of ukulele players in Beverley who regularly meet, play and sing. If you are interested contact Alan Primrose on 0408 002 965.

JIVE/ROCK ‘N’ ROLL IS BACK

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, YORK - MARKET DAY

On 26 October the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, in York, will be hosting a market day from 9:00am to 12:00pm. There will be a morning tea, bric-a-brac, Op Shop open, and plenty of bargains to be found. For more information, contact Veronica at 0408 940 895.

The date of the October ordinary council meeting has changed to 3.00pm, Wednesday 30 October 2024. The previous date advertised was Wednesday 23 October 2024.

AVONDALE FARM OPENING

Avondale Farm will be open to the public on the 26 October from 9.00am onwards. Come along and join some of the regular volunteers in either the homestead garden or the bush reserve. Contact Bronwyn the caretaker on 0461 421 455 for further details or to arrange a visit to Avondale at any time.
