The Artist-in-Residence for August is Paula MacMillanPerich, and she is an accomplished Fremantle-based visual artist, educator, designer, gallery curator and illustrator. We are excited that Paula will be offering a workshops for kids aged 8 -12 years, on Saturday 09 & Sunday 10 August.
The Flying Bicycle Collective is a contemporary dancetheatre-puppetry performance for young audiences. They will be performing at the Beverley Town Hall on Saturday 20 September, show starts at 12.30pm - 1.30pm, and a workshop from 3.00pm - 4.00pm. Jive/Rock ‘N’ Roll group is back on Friday’s at the RSL Hall starting at 7pm. Great fun for all skill levels, bring a friend along to join in the dancing. For more information contact Bob on 0447 515 153.
Stay Active, gentle exercise sessions for seniors and others, are held on Tuesday mornings at 9.00am at the Recreation Centre, cost $1. Newcomers always welcome, just turn up.
ASTRONOMY
Registrations are now open for the fortnightly astronomy classes with Brian! Starting Monday 04 August for ages 9+. You’ll be learning to use telescopes and create star charts. There’ll be moon and planet observation nights. Register your interest today on 9646 1600.

Next months Garden Society meeting has been postponed to Tuesday 12 August , 10.30am at the Dead Finish. Weather permitting, we will be planting out our recently purchased plants in the prepared garden beds after the meeting.
