RESTRICTED BURNING PERIOD
The Restricted Burning Period has now commenced. 18 October - 14 November 2025
A permit to burn is required, however please note there will be no permits issued 17-27 October due to the limited availability of the Community Emergency Services Manager.
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION RESULTS
If you haven’t heard the results from the 2025 Shire of Beverley Local Government Election. The following people have been voted in as Councillors: Andrew Shaw, Susan Martin, John Maxwell and Alan Sattler.
BEVERLEY BOWLING CLUB CORPORATE BOWLS
The last week of Corporate Bowls competition is this Friday 24 October. Teams of 4 can include one bowling club member, cost is $6 per person. So get together with work mates, family or friends to make up a team. Registration will be 6pm, games commencing 6.30pm. PLANT HANGER WORKSHOP
Tammy from Pots n Tangles is returning to Beverley on Saturday 01 November for a fun macrame workshop. The workshop starts at 12.30pm and costs $115 per person. This includes all materials to create your own lattice plant hanger, grazing table and refreshments. Tickets are limited, head to potsandtangles.com to purchase your tickets.

BEVERLEY ROSE SHOW & QUILT EXHIBITION
The 2 day Beverley Rose Show starts on Friday 24 October from 12noon - 3.00pm. If you can’t make it on the Friday, then it’s open again on Saturday 25 October from 9.00am - 12.30pm. There will be some beautiful roses on display, plus an amazing display of quilts that will adorn the walls, thanks to the ladies from the Beverley Patchwork Group. There will be Devonshire teas, raffles, and stalls featuring bric a brac, plants, and a Quilters stall, with quilts available for sale.
AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY MUSEUM
Beverley Agricultural Machinery Museum will be open 8.30am to 1.00pm, on Saturday 25 October, located in Waterhatch Rd at Avondale Farm. Entry is free, for more details ring John on 9646 0768.
BEVERLEY OP SHOP
Open this Friday from 11.00am until 2:30pm and this Saturday from 9.00am until 12 noon. Located at the western end of the Town Hall building, at the green door.
PROPERTY FIREBREAKS
Firebreaks must be installed by Saturday 01 November, visit the Fire Break Order page on the Shire of Beverley website to make sure you meet your obligations.
STAY ACTIVE
Stay Active, gentle exercise sessions for seniors and others, are held on Tuesday mornings at 9.00am at the Recreation Centre, cost $1. Newcomers always welcome, just turn up.
CHRISTMAS WREATH WORKSHOP
Join us on Tuesday 11 November at the Beverley CRC for a fun Christmas wreath making workshop from 10.00am - 2.00pm. The cost is $10 p/person which includes basic wreath materials and a light lunch. We ask you to bring your own materials to personalise your wreath and a bring n share plate.Spaces are limited call the Beverley CRC 9646 1600.
