Get ready for a holy dose of hilarity, friends! Beverley Amateur Dramatics is bringing Nunsense: The Musical to the Platform Theatre, and these sisters are guaranteed to have you laughing from the opening prayer to the final bow. Featuring local talent, toe-tapping tunes, and a whole lot of good-hearted mischief, this is a show not to be missed!
This award-winning musical comedy by Dan Goggin follows the misadventures of the Little Sisters of Hoboken, who find themselves in a fundraising frenzy after a convent cooking accident leaves 52 nuns dead from botulism. With only enough money to bury 48, the remaining five sisters stage a riotous variety show to raise the needed funds.
Packed with witty dialogue, catchy songs, and outrageous antics, Nunsense is a feel-good, laugh-outloud experience that celebrates resilience, friendship, and the joy of performance. Perfect for audiences of all ages - you won’t want to miss it!
