Show Regulations and Notices Entry forms close 5pm Friday 14 August 2026 except for Section F (Fruits and Vegetables) and Section J (Flowers) which close 5pm Tuesday 18 August 2026.

**NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED** 1. All exhibition shed entries must be delivered between 1pm and 6pm on Thursday 21 August, except perishables.

2. Perishables (Section C - Produce, Section F - Fruits & Vegetables and Section J - Flowers) must be received by 10am on Friday 21 August 2026.

3. Please check individual sections for specific regulations.

4. Each exhibit must clearly show - NAME, SECTION and CLASS NUMBER in which it is entered.

5. Exhibits must be labelled in such a way that labels can be removed or covered for judging.

6.All exhibits must be the exhibitors own work.

7. The Committee will take every care of exhibits, but will not be responsible for any loss by accident, fire or other means either in transit, in the building or during exhibition.

8. Judging commences on Friday 21 August 2026 at 1pm unless otherwise specified.

9. No person other than judges and officials will be allowed in the exhibition shed while judging is in progress.

10. Judges are required to disqualify entries that do not adhere to regulations.

At the discretion of the Committee, no inappropriate content will be accepted.

11. Should there be a tie in any section in which points are awarded for trophies, the exhibitor gaining the greatest number of firsts shall be declared the winner.

12. The Society reserves the right to substitute trophies of equal value to cash prizes or vice versa.

13. All prize money will only be paid on Show day from the Show Office in the amenities building from 12 noon until 4:30pm.

14. NO EXHIBITS ARE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE EXHIBITION SHED BEFORE 4:30pm ON SHOW DAY without written permission from either the Shed Secretary or Chief Steward. Exhibits can be collected 4:30-6pm Show Day and 9am-12pm Sunday 23rd August.

President’s Message It gives me great pleasure to invite you all to the 149th Beverley Agricultural Show in 2026. Hopefully this year after two rainy shows the sun will be back out and shining as the community comes together to showcase the best our region has to offer. This year our show theme “Machinery: Past, Present & Future”, pays homage to the machines that have helped build and shape agriculture and our community and continue to build the way for a strong sustainable future.

As the countdown begins to next year’s 150th show, a remarkable achievement, I ask that everyone take a moment on show day to reflect on the amazing tireless work and commitment of our volunteers and sponsors to organise such a significant event year after year. Through the generous contributions of so many, we are able to unite Beverley and bring everyone together for a day of fun, entertainment and competition.

This year's show will see the return of many beloved annual entertainment options and stalls. For the youngest visitors, face painting and the ever popular bouncy castles. Climbing wall and bungee trampoline provided free by the Ag Society for those needing to burn off some showbag sugar! Machinery displays of all colours for those looking to invest in some new toys or just admiring how far agricultural machines have come from the vintage machine display across the oval. Market and trade stalls brimming with handmade goods, farm products, and local services — a great place to browse, shop, and connect. The Lorraine Sims Exhibition Shed will once again showcase the remarkable skills and creativity of the Beverley community. And for the animal lovers , the Poultry Shed, Cattle Judging, Sheep Displays, Dog Highjump and Equestrian competition will be in full swing throughout the day As the day winds to a close be sure to head over to the bar and support our local community clubs by buying a drink and a sausage sizzle and sit back to enjoy the fireworks thanks again to our Platinum Sponsor Hutton and Northey Sales.

As stated, our show could not go ahead without our volunteers and of course our Agricultural Society Members. If you would like to get involved in the running of the show or sponsor prize please don’t hesitate, every small contribution adds to a better show. 2026 has seen some changes to our membership structure that makes it easier than ever to become a member of the Society and get an enhanced show day experience. Memberships close June 30th so if you are not a member and wish to become one in 2027 please head to the website to find out more.

Building on strategies that began implementation last year, this year's show will have a greater emphasis on community safety on and around the show grounds.

Whilst this should in no way reduce the Show Day experience don’t be surprised to see some tweaks and changes and the adage ‘it was ok last year’ is unfortunately not justification for unsafe behaviour. So I ask that all patrons be respectful and abide by requests of our volunteers when it comes to safety and the rules of the showgrounds.

I look forward to seeing you all at what will be another fantastic Beverley Show and the best of luck to all our competitors!

Show Theme The history of agricultural machinery in Western Australia is testament to the innovation and drive of the farming sector to adapt and advance. From the humble hand tools and horse drawn implements from the days of the first Beverley Agricultural Show, the change and uptake of new farming machines has been rapid. By the 1950’s, Western Australian built Chamberlain tractors were the farming tool of choice to see at the show, later to be upstaged in Beverley by the locally developed and manufactured Beverley Hydraboom, once again showcasing Western Australian farming ingenuity. Fast forward to the current day, and looking to the future, the 2026 Airshow awed the crowd with a spraying drone demonstration that paved the way for a new generation of autonomous remote control farming equipment. The possibilities are endless.

Though the future is exciting, it would be remiss to forgo and forget the machines and tools that have brought agriculture, and through farming, human civilization, to where it is today. Every modern tractor running auto steer and precision farming technologies has only reached the levels of sophistication seen today due to the lessons learnt and groundbreaking work done by the likes of Chamberlain tractors. As each generation of people involved in Agriculture leans on the learning of the past and develops the future, so have the machines that make it possible to turn the soil, grow crops, harvest them and feed and clothe the world.

At the 149th Beverley Agricultural Show we hope to look back, look around, and look forward to the tools that have and will continue to keep agriculture running strong into the future.

Open to anyone including Agricultural School students that are under 25 years of age on the 1st of May in the year of the State Finals, with a minimum age of 15. State Finals of the Junior Judging Competition to be held at the Perth Royal Show in September 2026.

Beverley Show placegetters will have the opportunity to compete. The winner of the State Final will then compete in the National Junior Judging Competition in the year 2026.

Please note that the Judging of the Parading Competition will take place during the main cattle judging.

SECTION E - POULTRY (CONT.) Amateur Poultry Competition: This class is open to poultry owners interested in having a go at exhibiting. Birds will be judged on their condition and presentation. So, give it a go; trim up those claws, clean up your birds, try a little Vaseline on those combs and wattles and bring your favourite bird down to the show. Be sure to check and treat them for any parasites.
