WHAT’S HAPPENING 2023 BEVERLEY ROSE SHOW Get your roses ready for the annual Rose Show! Held on 27 & 28 October. Be sure to check out the beautiful entries this year, $2 entry. Devonshire teas will be available for purchase, as fundraiser for the Beverley Swimming Club. BEVERLEY AGRICULTUAL MACHINERY MUSEUM The Shire of Beverley’s Agricultural Machinery Museum (located at Avondale Farm in Waterhatch Rd 6km from town) will be open to the public from 8.30 am until 12.30 pm on Saturday 21 October, admission is free. COMMUNITY BEVERLEY COMMUNITY GARDEN The Beverley Community Garden is offering tomato plants for just $2 and rhubarb plants for $4. If you’re interested in purchasing a plant, please contact us on 0400 569 971. SHIRE OF BEVERLEY FIREBREAK ORDER REMINDER
All owners and occupiers of land are required on or before 1 November every year to provide and thereafter maintain free of all inflammable material until 15 April of the following year, firebreaks as stipulated in the manner described in the Firebreak Order. Tend to your hazard reduction now by clearing around sheds and buildings, mowing lawns and removing excess leaves. Children’s Art Activity St John Ambulance (Western Australia) Ltd. RTO Code: Time to get creative in readiness for the Alex & Evie event at the Platform Theatre. Children of all ages, we invite you to come design & decorate an Umbrella with the Beverley Station Arts team.
Monday the 23rd or Tuesday the 24th of October 2023. We will be running this activity from 3.15pm - 4.30pm on both days. and will be set up in the station garden. The decorated Umbrellas will be proudly on display for all to see at the event on the 7th of November 2023 and then be yours to take home. There will be a small cost of $5.00 to cover art supplies.
