ANGLICAN PARISH OF BEVERELY-BROOKTON

The annual meeting of the Parish of BeverleyBrookton will take place on Sunday 23 June following the 10.30am service at St Mary’s Church, Beverley. The meeting will take place in St Mary’s Hall/One Tree Café.

NEXT GARDEN SOCIETY MEETING

The next Garden Society Meeting will be on Tuesday 02 July 10.30am Dead Finish Museum. Tuesday 16 July visit to CT Gardens, Plantation Rd, Westdale. We will be meeting at Dead Finish Museum at 10am for car pool. Due to the prevalence of COVID19 in the community the annual Seniors Lunch has been postponed until later in the year.

MENS SHED RAFFLE

Join the Mens Shed for their next raffle at the Lions kiosk on the 05 and 06 July. 1st prize will be a $150 voucher donated by Je Mode Photography Studio + a $50 meat voucher, 2nd prize a $50 meat voucher 3rd prize a $25 meat voucher and 4th will be a mystery prize. Thank you to T Bone Butchers for supplying the meat vouchers.

BEVERLEY AGRICULTURAL MUSEUM OPEN

The Beverley Agricultural Museum located at Avondale Farm just 5.5kms from town along Waterhatch Road will be open to the public on Saturday 22 June between 9.00am and 3.00pm. Entry is free. The museum houses nearly 150 years of farming machinery. Ring John on 9646 0768 or the Beverley Shire on 9646 1200 for a private viewing appointment or further information volunteering and restoration.

44TH INFANTRY BATTALION MEMORIAL

The 44th Australian Infantry Battalion Memorial is conducting a 2,101km run throughout WA and Beverley will be holding a 3km run and brief memorial service on 01 July 2024. The run will start at 11.00am at the War Memorial and return for a service held at 11:30am.

INJURY MATTERS - 27 JUNE 2024

If you have been involved or lost someone in a road accident, Road Trauma Support WA will be delivering a one hour information session for our community. Register your interest at the Beverley CRC or marketing@beverleycrc.com.au.

SJA office hours are Tuesday & Thursday 9.00am to 2.00pm. Please note of the change of days - no longer open on Fridays.

BAPTISM OF HOLY SPIRIT

POT LUCK - FREE COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS

Join Artists in Residence, Cynda and Sue, exploring botanical dyeing on cloth, then hand stitching back into the material to make pot holders that will be auctioned off on Saturday 29 June. Workshop dates: Botanical Dyeing Saturday 22 June, 10.00am to 1.00pm, hand stitching Sunday 23 June at 10.00am to 4.00pm. All held at the Station.
