BEVERLEY MENS SHED

We having a free sausage sizzle for the local community at the Lions Kiosk (next to IGA) on Saturday 21 January from 9.30am onwards. We hope to see you there! For further information please contact Peter 0427 427 919 or Bob 0429 441 253.

AUSTRALIA DAY POOL PARTY

The annual pool party is on Thursday 26 January at the Beverley Swimming Pool. Free entry from 10am - 3pm, plus everyones favourites - the bomby comp, run-swim-run and this year we have a Perth DJ - it’s going to be epic!

FRIDAY BINGO IS BACK IN 2023

Come along to our 1st bingo session for 2023, on Friday 27 January. Make sure you arrive early, eyes down at 1pm, finishing at 3pm, with afternoon tea available. For further infomration contact 9646 1600.

40TH ANNIVERSAY - FRIDAY 27 JANUARY

The Beverley Police Station is celebrating 40 years of service to our commmunity, and we are inviting you to join us on 27 January at 10am for morning tea and a guided tour of the station. TINKERING FOR KIDS - $5p/p

Let’s get tinkering and make some cool stuff from simple things around the house. This session will be held at the library on Monday 30 January, from 10.30am - 12.00pm and is suitable for kids aged 6 - 12. $5 per child to cover material costs. Contact the CRC for further information 9646 1600.

Sparrows of Kabul by Fred Smith and band will be performing at the Station on Friday 24 February from 7.30pm. This show is an extraordinary song cycle on Australia’s involvement in Afghanistan culminating in the dramatic evacuation from Kabul in August 2021. Food and bar available. No BYO drinks. CARMEN - WESTERN AUSTRALIAN OPERA

Our first live streaming event, will be held Saturday 25 February and it is free to attend. Please come and experience opera under the Beverley stars at the Station. Bar & food available, no BYO drinks. Gates open at 6.30pm, show starts at 7.30pm.

ST PAUL’S CHURCH, EDWARD’S CROSSING

Given the dedication of the church at Edward’s Crossing to St Paul, members of the Beverley Shire and beyond with associations with the Edward’s Crossing district and St Paul’s Church are warmly invited to attend a service in St Paul’s Church on Sunday 22 January at 6.00pm to celebrate the Conversion of St Paul; one of the most momentous events in human history. There will be no service in St Mary’s Church, Beverley on that Sunday.

Now open to incorporated groups, with minor and major categories available. Forms are available from the Shire Office or on the website, late submissions will not be accepted. Applications close at 4pm on Tuesday 31 January 2023.
