Events & Notices NATURE BASED SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES

Did you know we have carnivorous plants right here in Beverley? Explore our local species and then make your very own at this fun workshop on Thursday 17 July, 9.30am to 11.30am.

TAX INFORMATION SESSION

How to lodge your tax return as a sole trader Need assistance with lodging your tax return as a sole trader? Georgia from RSM Northam will be running an information session to help you be learn where to enter the correct information into the right section of your tax return. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop or notebook. ASTRONOMY CLASSES IN JULY

Registrations are now open for the fortnightly astronomy classes with Brian! Starting in term 3, ages 9+. You’ll be learning to use telescopes and create star charts. There’ll be moon and planet observation nights. Register your interest today on 9646 1600.

AUTHOR RACHAEL JOHNS IS COMING

We have successfully secured funding from State Library of WA, to get award winning WA author Rachael Johns to Beverley on Friday 05 September. Bookings are now open, call 9646 1600, seats are limited.

JIVE/ROCK ‘N’ ROLL IS BACK

Jive/Rock ‘N’ Roll group is back on Friday’s at the RSL Hall starting at 7pm. Great fun for all skill levels, bring a friend along to join in the dancing. For more information contact Bob on 0447 515 153.

STAY ACTIVE

Stay Active, gentle exercise sessions for seniors and others, are held on Tuesday mornings at 9.00am at the Recreation Centre, cost $1. Newcomers always welcome, just turn up.

AGM & Meetings BEVERLEY COMMUNITY GARDEN

The Beverley Community Garden AGM will be held on Tuesday 22 July 10.30am at the Community Garden.

BEVERLEY GARDEN & TREE SOCIETY

Next months Garden Society meeting has been postponed to Tuesday 12 August, 10.30am at the Dead Finish. Weather permitting, we will be planting out our recently purchased plants in the prepared garden beds after the meeting.
