WHAT’S HAPPENING

STORYTIME RETURNS TO THE LIBRARY

Our first session will be on Tuesday 21 February starting at 9.30am in the library. Featuring stories, songs and fun this interactive 30 minute session for Beverley kids. Toy Library will be available following Storytime. Further information contact Kelly 0428 779 234.

FRIDAY BINGO

Sparrows of Kabul by Fred Smith and band will be performing at the Station on Friday 24 February from 7.30pm. This show is an extraordinary song cycle on Australia’s involvement in Afghanistan culminating in the dramatic evacuation from Kabul in August 2021. Food and bar available. No BYO drinks. THE BAD THEATRE GROUP ARE BACK

Beverley Amateur Dramatics are back to entertain you with ‘A Season of One Act Plays’. Three evening shows, we will be performing four short plays, starting on 30 March to 01 April. Tickets are on sale now at the Beverley CRC or online: TAZtix.com.au, there will be door sales on the night. No BYO, food and drinks available.

HV PILOT LICENCE COURSE

Do you require a Heavy Vehicle Pilot Licence? The team from ETS - Employment Training Solutions will be holding the 2 day training in Beverley on 23 February and 24 February at the CRC. The full course cost is $1,100 plus medical and DOT fees. Contact the CRC on 9646 1600 to enrol.

ST JOHNS FIRST AID COURSE

Get certified in Beverley, with this one day course on Saturday 25 February, from 8.30am to 4.30pm, at the Beverley Sub Centre, John Street. Just $160 per person, includes morning tea and lunch, registrations are essential, online bookings: stjohnwa.com.au or phone 9334 1233.

KOKEDAMA WORKSHOP

Join Teneille from Entwining Kokedamas for a fun workshop, learning the art of Kokedama on Tuesday 28 February at 11.00am at the Beverley CRC. There’s only 20 tickets available, so make sure to grab your ticket soon. $90 per person which includes a light lunch and 2 x take home Kokedama’s that you make at the workshop.

BOTANICAL ARTS AND BUBBLES

Join artist and teacher Naomi Keenan on Monday 27 February from 6.30pm-8.30pm at the Station, for an evening of botanical arts and bubbles. Only 12 places available, $60 per person, bookings 0438 957 307.

ALCOHOL INK POTS WORKSHOP

AGM - BEVERLEY LADIES DARTS

Annual General Meeting for the Beverley Ladies Darts will be held at the Bever;ley RSL Hall on Monday 06 March at 7pm. All ladies interested in playing darts in the 2023 season are welcome to attend. Enquiries to Jodie Bell 0403 258 165.

ASH WEDNESDAY

The Season of Lent begins on Wednesday 22 February with a service for Ash Wednesday at 7.30pm at St Mary’s Church, Beverley. This should be a reminder that the day before is Shrove Tuesday or as is more popularly known “Pancake Tuesday” – will you be making pancakes?

BADMINTON SEASON

Our season is well underway, so if you are new to town and are interested in giving it a go, we play on Wednesday mornings at 9am at the Town Hall.

BEVERLEY PLAYGROUP

Playgroup is held at the MOASH building on Thursday’s during the school term. Open to children aged 5 and under so kindy people, you are most welcome to cme along. 2023 membership forms available soon. See you there!

BEVERLEY MENS SHED
