BEVERLEY 1946 BOOKS

ANNIVERSARY OF THE CONSECRATION

Come and celebrate the anniversary of the 1863 consecration of the beautiful St Paul’s Church at Edward’s Crossing. This service will be held on Sunday 26 May at 4.00pm. Following the service enjoy a meal with others at a local hotel.

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE

Craig McKeough will be natural eco dyeing botanical prints on paper at the Station on Wednesday 22 May and Sunday 26 May from 10.00am to 2.00pm. No experience needed, all materials supplied, cost is $100. Enquiries; craigmckeough@gmail.com. Betty McKeough will have jewellery for sale and will be focussing on designs for a new collection.

JUNIOR FICTION BOOK DONATION

The Beverley Library and Early Years Network are collaborating on an exciting yet-to be announced project. We are now taking donations of no longer wanted, good condition junior books. You can drop off your previously loved books to the Beverley Library. For large quantities please speak to Alyssa before drop off.

Service Coordinator

Due to the expansion of services in the Pingelly and Brookton areas. Accessability is recruiting a Service Coordinator for the area and surrounds. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic and caring team that has a strong focus on quality support for people with disability and promoting community inclusion.

The Service Coordinator position offers 15 hours per week and will involve developing and maintaining strong relationships with individuals with a disability and their families that lead to a partnership approach to setting and achieving goals in a person and family centered way.

Effective communication skills and experience of working within a team are required. If you are committed to supporting people to achieve goals and be empowered to have a great quality of life with choice and control, then this position may be of interest to you.

Interested applicants must also have a driver’s license and own transport.

An understanding of current NDIS and Disability Service Standards and an ability to make a positive contribution by working creatively and offering real choices is desired
