HELP NEEDED! ANNUAL COUNTRY CHOIR BASH

It’s that time of the year when we welcome choirs to the Station for the Annual Country Choir Bash and we would love any donations of cakes, slices, etc. for the very large afternoon tea! Plates can be left at the Station on Saturday 14 September. With thanks from Beverley Station Arts.

UKULELE PLAYERS WANTED

Do you play the ukulele? Are you interested in learning how to play? We are a small group of ukulele players living in Beverley who regularly meet and play and sing. New players are welcome, you do not need to own a uke initially. If you are interested and would like to join us, contact Alan Primrose on 0408 002 965.

THE BEVERLEY AGRICULTURAL MUSEUM

The Beverley Agricultural Museum is located at Avondale Farm just 5.5kms from town along Waterhatch Road will be open to the public on Saturday 14 September between 9.00am and 3.00pm. Entry is free. The museum houses nearly 150 years of Wheatbelt farming machinery. Ring John on 9646 0768 for a private viewing appointment or further information regarding volunteering and restoration.

SUNDAY SERVICES

A special service on Sunday 15 September to honour the building of St Andrew’s Church at Greenhills in 1882 and subsequently in 1912 will take place at 9.30am at St Andrew’s Church Greenhills. Meanwhile at 9.00am at St Mary’s Church Beverley there will be the regular service of morning prayer.

BEVERLEY RSL CLOSED

Due to dwindling numbers and volunteers, the RSL will be closed until further notice.

JIVE/ROCK ‘N’ ROLL IS BACK

Jive/Rock ‘N’ Roll group is back at the RSL Hall on Friday starting at 7.00pm. Great fun for all skill levels, bring a friend along to join in the dancing. For more information contact Bob on 0447 515 153.
