WHAT’S HAPPENING

RSL - VETERANS DAY COMMEMORATION

There will be a commemorative ceremony for Vietnam Veterans Day, also known as Long Tan Day, at the memorial on Anzac Lane on Friday 18 August. Please form up at 10.45am for the 11.00am service. After the service all are welcome to attend the RSL hall, 50 Forrest Street, for refreshments.

AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY MUSEUM

The Shire of Beverley’s Agricultural Machinery Museum (located within the grounds of Avondale Farm in Waterhatch Road) will be open to the general public on Saturday 12 August from 8.30am until noon. Entry is free. The machinery museum will be closed on show day, Saturday 19 August. For more information ring John on 9646 0768 or the Beverley Shire on 9646 1200.

CWA MORNING TEA CANCELLED

The CWA meeting scheduled for the 16 August has been cancelled. A new meeting date will be advertised soon.

If you under apply postage stamps, a “More to Pay“ fee of $1.50 will be added to the amount owing. As rule of thumb a DL (maximum: 130mm x 240mm, 5mm thick, 250 grams per Australia Post charges book) requires 1 x $1.20 postage stamp or 1 x Concession stamp. Anything bigger requires more stamps.
