Friday 10 March at 10.30am St Mary’s Church Beverley, we will celebrate Mothering Sunday, coinciding with the Fourth Sunday in Lent. In medieval times, churchgoers would visit their “mother” church during Lent. Evidently it became an occasion for family reunions and honouring mothers.
The CWA are holding a community morning tea on Wednesday 13 March at 9.30am at the CWA rooms. All are invited to this free event!
Beverley Garden Society will be having a Busy Bee at the Dead Finish Museum on Thursday 14 March from 8.30am to 10am. Many hands make light work, join us to help get the garden looking beautiful for Easter. After the Busy Bee we will be joining Clive Nicholls for a geranium cutting exchange, all welcome to bring and share cuttings. BYO mug and chair. Call into the Station to welcome back Artist in Residence, Len Zuks. Len has completed a number of paintings while in residence with more to come! Len is also joined by renowned Singaporean artist, Rosihan Darhim and together they are creating some collaborative sculptures, so call in to see what they are up to. Don’t forget to welcome Rosihan and to show him some small country town hospitality!
Dawn Collins, is hosting a workshop for those interested in learning to comprehend their intuition. The workshop offers an introduction to awakening your soul and is suitable for all levels. Dawn will be holding readings also! Contact the CRC for more.
