FUNDAMENTALS OF SKETCHING

Have you have ever to learn the fundamentals of drawing and sketching? Join Artist in Residence, Andy Dolphin for instruction, proportion and shading. Workshops will be held on Thursdays 5.30 - 8.30pm and Fridays 1.00 - 4.00pm, at the Station in July. MENS SHED RAFFLE

Join the Mens Shed for their next raffle at the Lions kiosk on the 05 and 06 July. 1st prize will be $150 voucher donated by Je Mode Photography Studio + $50 meat voucher, 2nd prize $50 meat voucher 3rd prize $25 meat voucher and 4th will be a mystery prize. Thank you to T Bone Butchers for supplying the meat vouchers.

NEXT GARDEN SOCIETY MEETING

Tuesday 16 July the Garden Society will visit CT Gardens, Plantation Rd, Westdale. We will be meeting at Dead Finish Museum at 10am for car pool. Due to the prevalence of COVID19 in the community the annual Seniors Lunch has been postponed until later in the year.

CELEBRATING ST PETER AND ST PAUL

A service to celebrate the Feast of St Peter & Paul will take place on Sunday 14 July at 3.00pm at St Paul’s Church, Edward’s Crossing. We will be joined for the Service by Bishop Kate Wilmot who has episcopal responsibility for rural areas of the Diocese. All are welcome. Please note there will be no service at St Mary’s Church on that Sunday.

CWA MORNING TEA

The Beverley CWA will be hosting a community morning tea, Wednesday 10 July at the CWA hall from 9:30am. Free to all.

BAPTISM OF HOLY SPIRIT

All are welcome to join us on Saturday 06 July at 10.30am, Church Building, 50 Hunt Road. Register your interest at xgancex@gmail.com and join us for a lunch after the service.

The Beverley RSL AGM will be held on Monday 08 July, 5.00pm at the Beverley RSL Hall, 50 Forrest Street.

COMMUNITY GRANT PROGRAM

The Shire of Beverley is pleased to announce the release of Round 1 of the Community Grant Program 2024! This program provides financial support to local community groups, organisations, and individuals to help make a positive impact in our community. Application period is now open and closes 31 July 2024.

BEVERLEY BADMINTON CLUB

JIVE/ROCK ‘N’ ROLL IS BACK

Thank you to everyone who enetered our first official Creative Writing Competition. We ask that All participants of this competition please come into the Beverley CRC to collect your story, certificates and prizes. This competition would not have been possible without the Encouraging Promising Practices Grant by the State Library of WA. Thank you to our 6 amazing judges who volunteered their time to judge and provide feedback.
