WHAT’S HAPPENING

TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

Sparrows of Kabul by Fred Smith and band will be performing at the Station on Friday 24 February from 7.30pm. This show is an extraordinary song cycle on Australia’s involvement in Afghanistan culminating in the dramatic evacuation from Kabul in August 2021. Food and bar available. No BYO drinks. BEVERLEY AMATEUR DRAMATICS RETURN

We are back to entertain you with ‘A Season of One Act Plays’. Three evening shows, we will be performing four short plays, starting on 30 March to 01 April. Tickets are on sale now the Beverley CRC or online: TAZtix.com.au, there will be door sales on the night. No BYO, food and drinks available.

ART PRIZE & 54TH ANNUAL EXHIBITION

CHURCH SERVICES

After the very well attended Fifth Sunday Combined Avon Valley Churches’ service on Sunday 29 January at St Faith’s Church, Quairading. This Sunday 05 February, services are at our local churches at both St Mary’s Church, Beverley and St John in the Wilderness, the Dale having a service commencing at 9.00am.

BEVERLEY COMMUNITY GARDEN

Tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, zucchinis, perennial spinach and herbs for sale. Available Tuesday and Saturday mornings.

2023 BADMINTON SEASON

Our new badminton season has started. If you are new to town and are interested in giving it a go, we play on Wednesday mornings at 9am at the Town Hall.

BEVERLEY MENS SHED

We will have 2 representatives from the fundraising coordinator of the Royal Flying Doctors at the Mens Shed on Tuesday 07 February at 9.00am.

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE

Call in and see Mutsuko Bonnardeaux, our current artist in residence at the Station until the 15 February. Learn about the exquisite process of ‘kumi-e’, hand dyed paper then torn into pieces then folded and positioned into life like pictures, mostly of our native wildflowers. Gallery hours, Thursdays - Sundays, 11.00am - 3.00pm, or when you see the sign’s out.

ST JOHNS FIRST AID COURSE

KOKEDAMA WORKSHOP

Join Teneille from Entwining Kokedamas for a fun workshop, learning the art of Kokedama on Tuesday 28 February at 11.00am at the Beverley CRC. There is only 20 tickets available, so make sure to grab your ticket soon. $90 per person which includes a light lunch and 2 x take home Kokedama’s that you made at the workshop.

HV PILOT LICENCE COURSE

Do you require a Heavy Vehicle Pilot Licence? The team from ETS - Employment Training Solutions will be holding the 2 day training in Beverley on 23 February and 24 February at the CRC. The full course cost is $1,100 plus medical and DOT fees. Contact the CRC on 9646 1600 to enrol.

BOTANICAL ARTS AND BUBBLES

Join artist and teacher Naomi Keenan on Monday 27 February from 6.30pm-8.30pm at the Station, for an evening of botanical arts and bubbles. Only 12 places available, $60 per person. Bookings 0438 957 307.
